Exhaust Detection - This isn't no WhisperThrust. The massive thrust output makes the engine highly detectable

The MT-01, or Punch, is an innovative new engine. SAEVUS believes the Galaxy has relied on Hoersch-Kessel Drive type Ion Engines for far too long. This Mauda-Templar Drive Type Plamsa Engine takes the Gamma-Ray Plasma generated from a starship's Antimatter Reactor and ejects it at 92% the speed of light. With a massive Exhaust Velocity coupled with the drastically higher Exhaust Temperature of Plasma compared to Ions makes for an Engine that far outperforms its archaic counterparts.
But, it's not quite perfect. Ion Engines are still much more efficient than Plasma Propulsion and as such, the Punch requires much more fuel and power.
