Searching for a Jedi Master specialized in the Force

Alright, so I kinda need a Master for my Padawan character, Rune.

Although he has had a Master once before that taught him the ways of the lightsaber on her own, she has taught him the very basics of the Force and, now that she has disappeared and is now considered dead, Rune now wants to move on from his grief and learn more about the Force.

Rune is interested in learning from both the Light Side of the Force and possibly even the Dark Side, if he ever happens to research a bit too far into the Force itself. Because of this, it would be preferable for him to receive the teachings of a Jedi Master that is proficient in the arts of the Force in order to be able to both learn the ways of the Force, to control his emotions and to bring them away from the Dark Side.

Lightsaber combat training, although less important than Force training, is still manageable, seeing as he is interested into fighting with the seventh Form. He has already learned from his past Master the third and fifth Form quite proficiently, and is now able to learn another Form entirely.

I am not part of the Jedi Order myself, seeing as I'm actually part of the Jedi Academy Network, but I can fortunately change that, seeing as I have not yet RPed.

And, for now, I am not struggling with the Dark Side. That is, not yet. In fact, Rune does not actually know how the Dark Side of the Force functions and, therefore, is not yet interested. However, he is extremely curious about the Force and might stumble into things that he should had not crossed paths with on his own, and therefore needs to have somebody that could potentially keep him away from said paths.

Hm, speed is slightly slower than I thought it would be, but I can gladly keep on with it.

Alright, I will leave the Jedi Academy and enter the Jedi Order right away. Are there any planets in the Galaxy that may suit you for the meeting?

You don't have to leave the Jedi Academy to join the Jedi Order. You can be in both (and many, many are). The Academy is a place where Jedi from all Orders (and independents) can learn and be trained.

Private role-play is fine, or you can post in the Jedi Academy IC training area. Either work.

I'm in both the Academy and the Order. The Academy is more like a networking station, with the various light sided Force Orders as the the companies who send their employees there for training. At least, that's how I think of it.

It's not complicated. But I probably make it so :p

Logically you're in the same Order as your Master. So a New Jedi Master = New Jedi Padawan. Silver Master = Silver Padawan. TJO Master = TJO Padawan.

So if you chose a Silver Master, it would be logical for you to be a member of the Silvers, rather than TJO.

But membership of the Academy is open to all.

And you could learn from any LS Master, regardless of Order. We have Jedi teaching within TJO that aren't TJO Knights and Masters. It works wonderfully. And vice versa of course. I have a public training thread for Jedi from anywhere. As long as they're LS, they can learn.

Alright, I will post soon in the Jedi Academy IC Training Area so we can meet over there a bit more easily.

Oh, I never imagined the Jedi Academy to function that way, but, now that I think about it, it makes sense. Thank you for explaining a newbie how the Faction worked. X)

Eh, maybe that is kind of a dumb question coming from my part, but the Jedi Academy IC Training Area can be anywhere, right? Considering it is a network of Jedi Academies, I suppose there is a Jedi Academy on most planets..... at least, I think so.
