For one hundred years, I have been Jedi; an unnatural long life given to me by the Force. To what end? I do not know.

For one hundred years I have been at the forefront of the Jedi Order; at times, a teacher, at others a burning lightsaber on the front rank. My path has been as turbulent as it has been long. I have wandered the Dark Side in my youth. Corrupt by my own power and skill, I wandered there, did dark deeds with the devil and sold my soul to some who never should be dealt with. Yet I found my way back.

I was Jedi again; though I looked and felt as I had, I was never the same.

I knew then the flaws in Jedi philosophy, I knew where their weaknesses lay and where they would be exploited and how to exploit them.Yet I was still Jedi, a servant of the light, of peace and protection standing guard for those who could not guard themselves. But, deep within my forever blackened heart, I knew there would come a time when traditional Jedi ways and traditional methods would not be enough, when there would come a time where the Jedi would have to walk the line, skirt the razor's edge to survive.

But what do I know? I am, at heart, a simple man.
