Strengths

Fast - Using a brand-new experimental Plasma Engine, the Myrkur is a very fast Corvette

Tough - The Myrkur does not rely on its shields for survival. It has a high resistance to energy damage due to the use of an ultrachrome coat. The outermost layers of armour are comprised of Bandorium, a very durable metal, and Frasium, allowing it to sustain significant heat-damage as well as enter atmospheres at high-speeds without risking structural integrity. The rest of the Hull is made of a Songsteel/Alusteel Alloy, allowing for greater armour without costing too much Weight.

Armoured Bridge - The bridge Windows are shielded by thick Bandorium. Instead of looking at blank metal when flying, Bridge Crew receive a constant feed of the environment outside by hundreds of micro-camera dotted around the ships hull. When enough of these cameras are destroyed to limit visibility, the Bandorium retracts and exposes normal Transparasteel

Weaknesses

Detectable - The use of powerful Impes engines makes the Myrkur a very detectable ship.

Poor Miles/Gallon - The Impes use a lot of power and fuel. The Myrkur won't last as long as most other Corvettes before needing refuelling.

Description

The SECC-01 is Orex Mauda's long awaited upgrade. After 9 years of an ancient HWK-290, he has finally moved into a new personal craft.

The Myrkur (Icelandic for Darkness), is a scary Corvette. Fitted with all the bells and whistles that Orex will need along his travels. It's powered by a brand new type of engine, built by Orex's SAEVUS. The Plasma-fuelled Impes engine provides the Myrkur with unrivalled speeds in realspace, while also packing an impressive 1.3 Hyperdrive, all wrapped in one.

Orex does not believe in relying on shields. Although the Myrkur is fitted with a powerful shield, its armoured hull balances durability with speed in an almost golden ratio, making it one hard wall to breach.

The Myrkur is also fitted with 8 Hyper-Velocity, Rapid-Fire turrets that hide themselves from prying eyes under heat-resistant covers, only peaking their heads out when they need to violently shell an enemy.

The Ship is piloted by an advanced A., eliminating the need for a pilot or crew entirely. In the case of the A.I's deactivation however, the on-board crew of 50 Vof Rector's provide the necessary functionality.

Towards the port end of the ship, ingrained in the relatively empty spaces are a pair of Cassum Cabal logo's on either side.
