Theme and Identity: The Second Legion, also known as The Jutrand Raiders, is a force designed to embody the spirit of ancient raiders, mixed with the tactical finesse and brutality of the Sith. Unlike The Emperor's Fist the Second Legion focuses on mobile, highly aggressive warfare that brings fear through sudden and overwhelming assaults. They see themselves as the raiders of the Sith Order, always on the offensive, drawing power from both the thrill of battle and a culture of valor.
They are highly influenced by mythology, considering themselves akin to an ancient warrior cult. The men and women of the Second Legion are fierce, proud, and fearless in combat. Their ethos values strength, courage, and glory in battle, believing that those who fall in combat are honored and ascend to join their ancestors as true warriors of the dark side.
Their war cry is "No mercy, no surrender! Only victory and glory!"
Purpose and Role in the Sith Empire: The Second Legion plays a key role in expanding and maintaining the Sith Order’s control over unruly territories. They are utilized in rapid assault operations, planetary raids, and as a fearsome tool of retribution against those who resist the Sith. Their primary role is to ensure that regions on the fringe of the Empire remain in a constant state of intimidation, raiding those who harbor rebellion or refuse to pledge allegiance to the Sith.
They are also utilized in "shock and awe" tactics, storming planets with an overwhelming show of force to cow the local population into submission, leaving an impression of invincibility. The sight of their emblem has become synonymous with doom and fear across the galaxy.
Tactics and Warfare: Raiding and Plundering: Just as their mythical predecessors did, the second Legion launches surprise raids on planetary settlements. They pillage resources, destroy key infrastructure, and subjugate the local population, leaving chaos in their wake. These raids are designed not only to capture territory but also to demoralize enemies of the Sith Order and inspire terror.

The Jarls themselves are often Force-sensitive warriors who value martial prowess, and they lead their forces by example, from the front lines.
