Second Meetings

It had been a few days since Verrin had found the young teenager unconscious in the alleyway with the girl who was far stronger then she looked, and the grey force-user Alexandra. He had been impressed with the girl for stepping up to help another person without greed or some other outside desire influencing her actions. It gave him some comfort in his belief that the people of the galaxy weren't as bad as people said. That the average man, woman, and child would try to do the right thing if they had the chance.

Verrin hopped off the speeder, going on yet another walk among the populace of Coruscant. He knew he did it a little too often and that his time could be better aimed at training, studying, or meditating, but he loved it. Loved finding new little shops or seeing new people for the first time. He felt he could learn so much more by looking at the Galaxy and its people then he could ever by studying old holocrons. Philosophy and ancient knowledge was always valuable and enlightening, but there was something... real and compelling about first hand experience.

The sun was a little strong, far too strong for his delicate eyes, so he had to put on his dark glasses to block out the painful rays. Verrin took a deep breath, getting used to the darker shade the world took when the glass came over his eyes before resuming his walk, enjoying the sun on his back.
