ABOUT
Seculus-B is a dome-like structure built within the depths of a crater upon a barren moon, located within an uncharted system of the Outer-Rim territories. There are three planets located within the system, of which two are uninhabitable gas giants, and the last is a violent ice planet the moon is tidally locked within orbit with. The base is located on the darkest face of the moon, built within a crater which stretches one mile across. The facility itself only stretches one tenth of the crater's surface, and painted in a grey metallic paint to allow it to blend into the surrounding terrain. The facility was built to study sciences alchemic in nature, as well as serve as a base of operations to Sith or individuals Darth Tennacus entrusts in knowing the location.
OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
- Intent: A location for the character(s) to engage in experimentation and study, store their hoarded valuables, and hide out if necessary.

- Description: From an outside perspective, the facility appears to be a dome-like structure, but is mostly shadowed within a large crater for seclusion.
Laboratory: The laboratory within Seculus-B represents mostly technology and equipment associated with alchemic studies. It possesses a variety of computers used for data analysis, memory and logs in relation to studies going on within the facility.
Experimentation Wing: An experimentation wing extends alongside the laboratory, isolated behind a sealed door. Inside, the temperature of the room is kept to Zero degrees Celsius, composing of multiple rows of bacta tanks for purposes of preservation. Within it also resides two cryostasis chambers used for prolonged suspended animation. In the event of a main power surge, back-up generators will move all power towards the Experimentation Wing automatically to ensure the integrity of all (if any) specimens within. The room will also seal with two pressurised doors and drain all oxygen within the room, regardless of who is inside. The time before complete oxygen deprivation kicks in is exactly three-hundred and twenty seconds. If forcible entry is attempted, a countdown of sixty seconds will initiate which will drain all oxygen throughout the facility and flood each room with poisonous, flammable gases.
Landing Pads: There are two landing pads outside the main facility, used to only hold medium-sized vehicles. A long, narrow walkway composed of glass extends to allow the visitors to move to and from their ships without suffering oxygen deprivation.
Residency Lounge: The facility contains a residency lounge used for downtime or relaxation, with multiple refrigerator units containing refreshments and edibles.
Accommodation Wing: There are two accommodation wings within the facility, which may vary in their detail in accordance to the user's preferences. Both rooms are reasonably large in their diameters, capable of holding a large bed, storage cabinets, and miscellaneous possessions. The most notable aspect of the wing's design exists within its evacuation chambers located under the beds. In the event of immediate evacuation, a biological scanner along the wall can be triggered for the user to have their bed suspended towards the ceiling, revealing a hatch chamber within the floor space. Inside, the hatch descends down to two individual surface probes which can be driven across the moon's surface for swift evacuation.
Vault: The vault is considered the most secure location within the facility, secured by a seven inch, solid metallic door which has an air-pressurised seal. Oxygen is drained from the vault when it is not in use, and cannot be accessed without a blood sample provided by Darth Tennacus . In the event where forced entry is attempted multiple times, or an immediate spike in oxygen is recognised, the room will be jetted by two rows of six exhaustion vents which will engulf the room in flames, destroying everything within. Another defensive mechanism will be activated so long as there is no breach to the doors, which will activate a self-destruct sequence throughout the entire facility, releasing all windows from their frames. Once the glass windows have been released, a one-hundred and twenty second countdown will initiate, and cannot be defused unless Darth Tennacus deactivates the self-destruct sequence through a passcode panel located in his room. In the event of destruction, the entire facility will be engulfed by a radioactive explosion, preserving only the vault and Experimentation Wing.
Hibernation Dome: The Hibernation Dome is an isolated dome-shaped structure bridged by a pressurised walkway to allow passage between structures. Its materials compose the dome of durasteel and transparisteel plating, allowing the Hibernation Dome to maintain stable pressure, oxygen and temperatures necessary to the integrity of its inhabitants. It reaches at a total of 2,600 meters in length and diameter, with its roof ascending to a height of 96 meters. The Hibernation Dome's point of entry is sealed behind a pressurised door, which is accessible upon entering a keycode. Its interior temperatures are usually kept at sub-zero levels, with oxygen levels being severe to ensure the lack of survival for any unauthorised biological substances that may pose as a contamination risk to whatever is contained within.
Its primary function is to maintain the preservation of biological creatures, specimens and experiments contained within, constantly exuding a gaseous agent capable of rendering most generic beings unconscious or in a constant dormant state. It houses high-rising storage shelves which are isolated behind individual transpirsteel cabinets, with larger containment vessels located further capable of containing entities of larger physiques, as well as a control panel to alter the dome's functions if necessary.
Breeding Ground: The Breeding Ground is an alternate dome-like structure which, despite its name, poses as an ecosystem for any singular species to exist at one given time. Much like the Hibernation Dome, its exterior elements consist of durasteel and transparisteel to preserve the interior environment, where plant life and greenery flourishes to make the climate appear as a large, forest-like terrain. It serves to contain live specimens that can roam freely within its confines, protected and monitored with strict coordination. The environment can be altered if necessary through artificial climate alterations, with the ability to lower or raise the temperature, introduce other elements into its atmosphere or deplete it entirely to kill off anything within.
Large, electrified nets are installed within turrets that are installed across the walls and ceiling of the dome, used to capture specific specimens and subdue them if they pose a risk of danger. After they have been successfully captured, they can be encased within large durasteel cages for transportation. The Breeding Ground stretches 140 meters in length and diameter, with its roof rising 100 meters above its lowest surface. In the event of a containment breach, the Breeding Ground with initiate a lockdown phase and seal the doors after inputting a keycode. One lockdown has commenced, the climate can be altered to kill whatever lies within.
SECURITY
Low: Given the intended discretion of the location, the facility does not possess any exterior turrets, and currently does not possess any security droids. Protocol and medical droids exist to serve for scientific-related scenarios, but they are not hostile.
