Security

Sabine had requested help from The Paladin Consortium, she was interested in guards for herself. Also her factory what was now beginning to produce the goods, no doubt it could be subject to problems. As it was based on serenno, and it was right in between the mandalorian factions. This could create issues for her, and as such she wanted protect her assets, from possible attack.

She had her office ready for meeting, an ice jug of water, and a list of possible services she could provide instead of direct payment. She also wonder if he could help design her droid forces, when she got round to them.

A sharp knock would rattle Sabine's door, indicating someone was waiting to see her.

On the other side of the door was a young man, perhaps 25 years in age. His skin was tanned, and his jet-black hair was styled across the top of his head. It was a messy look, but one could tell it had been made that way purposefully with careful grooming and a painstaking amount of time. He was wearing a black suit and tie, as well as an expensive watch across his wrist. The time read 4:30, it was currently the late afternoon.

More than that, however, he was an emissary of the Paladin Consortium. It was one of the galaxy's premier up-and-coming contractors, hiring out people filling the roles of mercenaries, security guards, bodyguards, and much more. They hadn't been open for long, but clients were already flooding through their doors at an alarming rate.

The man was there to discuss a security contract with yet another client. This would be his fourth already this week. Buisness sure was booming in the war industry...

As she heard the overly loud knock on her door, she pointed to it and looked at servant. The maid head to the door to let the man in, he looked the part that much is true. He was quite easy on the eye too, though she was only interested in force users who showed true prowess. She pointed him toward one her white leather seats she had, and beckoned him to sit down, as she did she said in calm voice Please take a seat. Her servant then poured him a glass of water, for him it had hint of lemon in it, from the ones floating in the jug.

I take it you know why I have requested you here? It was more than just her factory she wanted to protect, and herself. She was worried about serenno, and the two mandalorian empires on the borders of the planet. She wanted to keep influence if they tried to take it over, whilst she could trust the older empire, she was not sure about the upstart one. She also knew being sith did not endear herself to the older one. So she wanted force to protect her assets and her, and be able to try and make power play, if someone tried to take planet, who disapproved of her. He would have been briefed, but what would they offer.

The man stepped into the office, giving the maid who had granted him entry a quick nod. He would then step up to the Sith lady's desk, giving his head a quick bow as he spoke. "My name is Elko Grant, emissary of the Paladin Consortium." He would take a seat as the woman offered, setting his briefcase on the floor beside him. He would look to her before speaking again. "As for your question, I know as much as you placed on your order form. I know you requested a meeting to discuss specifics, and that is why I am here. What exactly would you like us to provide?"

The Consortium had a great many services it offered to its clients, ranging in fields from security work to private military contracts. This woman had asked for security services, but all in all what kinds was yet to be determined. This was sure to be an interesting meeting.

Well Mr Grant, I need my facilities protecting and personal security when I go away. That may be to war, from time to time. As let's be honest peace is boring. She then loaded up schematics of her factory, so he could see the holo image of it all. Including where her ships have begun to forged, and all the bits he would need to know. She wanted no hidden costs, this had to be upfront, and to do that she had to make sure he was honest about his prices. Though when war came, she knew and he knew there were never any guarantees, as they may lose.

She waited for him to look over the items, and also to start to think about price. She asked her new slave, Could you get my guest some food, she looked art him as to say, tell her what you want. The slave was still wilful, though running away was not an option for her.

Adi would stand up with a very sour attitude. She didn't like doing what she was told but she had learned to dislike her collar. It would shock her many times a day when she disobeyed. She would go to the kitchen and brought out some of the best food they had before taking her seat at her masters feet

Elko nodded with a small smile as Sabrine noted as how peace was boring. The Paladin shared her sentiments, or else he would not be in the business he was in today.
He noticed how the woman asked her slave to bring them food instead of ordering her to do so. He had expected the Sith lady to be much more cruel to her servants than what he had observed. In his experience throughout the galaxy, not many treated their underlings as well as she did. The slave could at least be considered somewhat lucky indeed.
He would look over the factory design with a critical eye, looking for places where they would have to place security guards throughout the complex. He would give an offhanded nod to the slave as she came back with a platter of food, still giving the facility his full attention. After a minute or so, he would recline back in his seat and speak to his client, "The cost would definitely depend on the number of factories we're talking about here. In a large quantity, security droids we provide would probably more efficient than Paladin guards. Their upkeep is less burdening, they cost less, and they'll be easier for us to supply in quantity. And the bodyguard detail is certainly doable. How many personal guards are you thinking?"

@Janus @Adi Rost

Droids I have, I want extra ways of securing my factories. We are only talking two at the moment, but I do hope to expand. Humans could out think droids, so droids were useful, but she wanted brains to bring them up in usefulness. She did look at her slave as she came back as to say, you better start getting use to your station in life or else. She then took a small bite from her sandwich, as her guest began to look at the facilities. As he looked over the plans and everything, he asked how many bodyguards was she thinking off. She ponder for a moment, and then replied Say eight for round the clock, so they can rota on each day in pairs of two. Though when going to a battle, I like to up it a platoon of them. She waited to see what his reaction would be, though it occurred to her if this meeting goes on for too long he may need a place to stay the night, the guest room was not made up yet though.

Elko finished analyzing the factory design, then brought out his company datapad. He would silently calculate her specifications for several minutes, trying to come up with a rough price sum for what she wanted. When he was done, he'd flip the screen to show her the final cost. It was decent-sized, but no doubt something she could afford.
"So this here is the estimated pricing for the services you want rendered. I know it's a pretty decent-sized number, but you are being protected by top-notch security. I can bring this number down for you if you have any assets to offer such as companies, resources, facilities, or anything of the like."

No but I will sell you assets as you wish them, though at moment I just trying to get the range of products needed. She sighed at that last bit, as getting the right range and then advertising them was always an issue. Though if he had anything in mind, she would certainly consider it. She then passed him a current catalogue of her ships.
Cruisers
I.M.D Brachypelma MkI (Artillery Cruiser 600m) pending
I.M.D Tarantula MkI (Tactical Cruiser 600m) pending

Frigates
I.M.D. Boa MkI (Assault Frigate 400m)
I.M.D Trojan MkI (Carrier Frigate 500m) pending

Corvettes
I.M.D. Cobra MkI (Assault Corvette 150m)
I.M.D. Fang MkI (Anti Fighter Corvette 80m)

Gunships
I.M.D. Vulture MkI (Escort Gunship)

Star fighters
I.M.D. Hell Cat MkI (Bomber)
I.M.D. Hawk MkI (Fighter)
I.M.D. Eagle MkI (Interceptor)

If you do see anything you like though, feel free to consider a different negotiation for it. As for the price, I can live with that. Just make sure who ever stays head of my personal security does not get exchanged to often, as that leads to lapses. She always liked to know who she could blame, and who she could praise for things. She did like to know who the buck stopped with.

Elko took several moments to review the catalog. He took mental note of a few ships the Consortium would value, nodding his head periodically. After fully analyzing the ship list, he would raise his head to Sabine. He indeed had a deal in mind that'd benefit them both.
"You won't have to worry about that, our shifts change seamlessly. As a matter of fact, timeliness is part of our training. You guard shifts will briefly overlap at changing points to ensure you are never left unprotected. As for the ships, I am interested in both the Vulture and the Hell Cat. If you can get us a replenishable contract of perhaps 50 each, along with a small sum of credits, I think we can reach a bargain."

She nod her head, and the replied Yes that easy enough, we can do deal on that basis. Though if you want more give, me a bit of time to make sure I have stock ready. Also I do have some leeway on Serenno, if you wish for safe haven there. The reason she did was not by political maneuvering, it just the simple fact, she has a fleet in orbit and droid army on the ground. Like all sith worlds power gave you strength, and military power was the most visible. Though she never trusted droid reactions on there own to guard her, hence the extra security. Also the having mercenary bodyguards, made her look even stronger which made her enemies dwindle in number.

(Was just looking through some things, and realized I forgot to make my last post)
Elko nodded, pushing back the chair and standing up. "Very well, madam. Consortium lawyers will draw up a contract immediately and will send it directly to you when finished. Upon the arrival of our payment, your security teams will be deployed immediately. I bid you good day."
He glanced down at his expensive-looking watch. He had to go, or else he would be late for a meeting with one of the Hutt families. Offering one last curt nod to Sabine and her servant, he would exit flanked by his pair of bodyguards.
