See No Evil

"Those that detach themselves from their emotions are those that truly experience loneliness."
Only a few days had passed ever since the group had arrived at the compound. In those few short days, however, Etheriud had put himself to work in various means. He started by collecting and searching for the remnants of the texts located throughout the facility. This included books, holo-recordings, manuals, holocrons, anything of the sort. Secondly, he found himself a frequent studying location within the depths of the facility. There, Etheriud studied the texts that he had found. In them, the ancient language of the Sith was located, with annotations and lessons in Galactic Basic. Etheriud studied day and night, learning quickly. By the end of the third night at the compound, Etheriud had a strong grasp on the bare basics of Kittat and the language itself. During his studies, he read the other texts the former cultists had left astray around the academy; the content amazing and puzzling Etheriud at the same time. He became enthralled in the tale of this being known as the "Jen'Tevas". Etheriud had always loved mythology and religion, but this story was unlike other religions that he had studied before. Etheriud was only able to understand bits and pieces as most of it was written in the Sith language, but continued on in his studies none the less. Etheriud suddenly remembered Korogum's tale about how he had been locked here, and began to wonder if he could aid him in his studies. Etheriud collected his books and set out to Korogum's chambers, arriving after a few minutes of stupidly wandering about in circles. Etheriud knocked on the door.

"Labintias. I need your assistance. "

Korogum, Xhinx, Xaryus

"When the subconscious mind becomes inseparably intertwined with the waking mind, all hope of reason is lost.
When the Waking mind becomes inseparably intertwined with the unconscious mind, all hope of sanity is lost.
But when the Waking, Subconscious, and Unconscious minds become one; All is lost in the attempt to make sense."
Reeling, spiraling perhaps.

Flying, gliding.

Sinking, rising?

"No, none of those. Displacement. Simply being moved across a plane of space, devoid of focus or substance. That's natural, yes, it must be. There it is again, that same thing again. The King, the god, the hand. It's all the same, but it's different every time. That's normal though, it can look different but be the same, of course. What's this now, the hand is reaching out for me again. Last time, I didn't take it, but maybe this time I should. Yes, I'll take the hand and see what happens, it does not mean me harm, it would never do that. Oh yes, now I remember. I tried to take it last time, and it faded away, just like it has now. Now I remember, the image it left for me in the smoke it left behind. It's so familiar to me, but I can't place it. He looks so familiar, but there's no name for him. Wait, could he be someone I've met? Has to be, I know him. No name, and I know him, of course, that is right. This time the image is changing, it's become another hand, maybe I should take it again. Yes, I will take the hand again. It feels like a river, like something is pouring into me, that's alright. It must be good for me, the hand would never hurt me, I've known it for so long after all, Yes. This flowing won't stop, it feels like my arm is getting shocked, but there's no pain, of course not. Who is he, he looks so fami-"

Korogum awoke with a start in his chambers, staring upwards at the cold, ornate carvings of the stone ceiling. Sitting up, he reflected on the experience he had just felt inside his sleep, as the memories started to fleet away faster with every passing second. As Korogum picked out the few key points of his dream, he calmed down and sat up on the edge of his bed. As he looked to his belongings stacked neatly at his bedside, his weapon and a few tomes he kept on him for personal study, he heard a knock on his door and Etheriud's voice. Standing up, Korogum strode to his door and opened it to greet Etheriud.

"Labintias, that means Greetings, correct? I have not had many chances to study that scripture. What do you need assistance with?"

"Let them weep by very the avatar of pain. On his path of elimination. It will stop at nothing to serve what created its being. And it will carry out the words that have been breathed into it."

Xhinx sat alone, in a dark room. On the floor was a key, a key that fit in an inlet on the back of his helmet. The key sat next to the currently removed helmet of Xhinx. With his cloak off, Xhinx looked at himself in a mirror. To his surprise, he could not see anything, he was camouflaged in the surrounding darkness. Skin as pure black as the darkest abyss. With eyes even darker. Xhinx looked back at his hands, still encased in his thick dark metal armor. He sat meditating on this. Flashbacks and revelations rapidly entering Xhinx's mind.

One vision was the most clear, the most punctual. In a fading area, stood a large figure lording over Xhinx, and Xhinx was in front of him, kneeling by him. The figure spoke one word, with gave life into Xhinx's currently shell like body, now a being with purpose. The figure spoke.

"Destroy."

And Xhinx obeyed. As if he unlocked this hidden potential, a source of power. Xhinx stood up, then the vision ended. Enthralling Xhinx. Xhinx stood up going back to his collection of tomes, and holocrons, and other books, all containing ancient secrets, and forgotten techniques all about self power, and the Dark Side. Xhinx studied each text hoping to improve his current powers, and abilities.

After a long period, Xhinx noticed in this one text, of this being tasked on carrying out destruction for his master, its name was Prazutis. Xhinx then stood, declaring himself such a being.

"I am Prazutis, Lord of Destruction."

"Be careful following the trail of the weak, their illness is sure to follow."
The Zabrak lay there, trying all he could to decipher the mysterious yet awe inspiring vision he had been having these past few months. The visions were always similar but always ended the exact same: Fire and Darkness and a figure clad in black and wearing a battle damaged mask, with the figure's hand outstretched holding what looked to be a Sith holocron. The visions usually lasted two to three minutes at most but sometimes the zabrak could stand for hours in what seemed to be a trance staring blindly ahead.

"What could it mean.." He said to himself as he opened the door to his chambers "Maybe Etheruid will have a solution to this."
he said as he started walking to his chamber.

Etheriud nodded towards Korogum's question about the greeting, and quickly began skimming through some of the books he had brought along. The pages were old and worn, and the bindings barely held together. Inside, the script varied from Kittat, to Basic, to Sith with Basic letters. Etheriud was able to decipher small amounts of the books, but was clueless on many of it. Etheriud opened the red tome with the word "STOTIKAS" or "Beginning" written on the front cover. He flipped to the fifth page, where a single word filled the header: "Jen'Tevas". Etheriud pointed at the word, not wanting to risk mispronouncing it as Korogum was most likely far more knowledgeable on the subject than he. Etheriud began to contemplate the story of the Jen'Tevas that he had been able to decipher. A body-less entity that existed in the primordial galaxy, and is able to take on a human avatar. Of course, Etheriud was heavily skeptical, but was curious nonetheless as Korogum had mentioned him being taken by cultists.

"Indeed, I was wondering if you could tell me the meaning of this word? And also what you may know about it. From what I can gather, it is a deity, but seeing as I am incapable at the moment of deciphering this script and language, I need your assistance. I came to you as you were the one who was kept here and forced to listen to these cultists chatter about. I'm sorry for disturbing you on such a touchy matter, but I can't get past this."

Looking over Etheriuds' shoulder, Korogum saw the word he had pointed out, realizing with a start that is was the same word he had seen days ago in his lucid stumbling through the halls. Other then that time and now, Korogum had never seen the word written in any way, but yet it rolled off his tongue like he had been using it all his life, sounding it out.

"Jen-tay-voss." He muttered under his breath, repeating it to himself, trying to jog some memory of his past with the cultists and his eavesdropping on their conversations. Remembering the first encounter with the word, and how a vision was triggered by touch, Korogum thought maybe, to contact the surface of the tome where the word was printed in its ancient calligraphy. As Korogum extended his hand and placed it over the section of the page, a searing pain shot up through his arm and into his skull, blasting his mind with another set of lightning-fast images flying through his vision. In a fraction of a second, it had started and ended, but the one thing that stuck in Korogums mind was a connection.

"Whatever this Jen'Tevas thing is, I believe it has to do with the overall nature of this place. From what I've gathered, it was as you said, a Deity. However to these people, whoever built this place, it may have been more than that, possibly even a creationist entity. Whatever it was to them, it was worshiped like a God, no doubt explaining the nature of this place. There's only one thing I don't understand fully about it, the fact that I've seen it, or at least its embodiment, in my dreams very frequently for the past few days. Other then these past few days within this compound, for all the time I've spent here, not once have I heard or even known of this entity, let alone dreamt of it. Other than that, I don't have anything else about it. Maybe I can find the Cultists old log books and try to find out what they were doing here, which may shed some more light on the situation."

Xhinx rose, shrouding himself back under his heavy armor, his burden. Embedding the knowledge of the lost tomes into him. He enabled himself with the ability to serve his new found master. To kill in his name. He now had only practice such abilities. Abilities that would prove who he was.

Xhinx remained alone. In a dark empty room. Training himself hours on end. Improving his current abilities, and trying to learn more. After a while, he sat back down, and collected his thoughts. His goal was to be more powerful then anyone in his way. In their way.

Xhinx returned to the others, with a feeling of enlightenment. He knelt before the being known as Korogum. "I am your tool, direct me and I will destroy any in your favor."

"It appears we have what we need here. We should depart, I fear listening ears and watching eyes are nearby."

"I know of a place, a very suitable place. We may settle our roots here and train. A storm is coming and we must prepare. We will need an army behind us. My ship is ready for departure let us go now."

The large figures all boarded in Xhinx's ship and departed in search for a new world. Their world.
