Private Seeing Double

Wearing: Snakeskin

Armed with: Divining Rod

Objective: Secure agreement with Broka The Hutt

Darth Themis, Dread Cobra, Scaled Scholar, Bright Lord of The Sith knew the time had come to at last rebuild her power base. But such a need does not come without capital. And Themis had capital to trade. She figured capital was huge as this was worth it.

The Lambda she had arrived in had more drawings. Of praxeums. Of possible warriors and apprentices waiting to be found and trained. She wasn't 'just' here to open a school, but to gain a curious set of ears and eyes in the form of Willow & Ivy Willow & Ivy .

The information was this: She knew a hidden Hyperspace Route to Coruscant and Kashyyyk. She had stolen it long before she had been a Sith, back when she was still a smuggler, from the vault of a Mandalorian she had fought to the death. Such precious information that she had sat on for years.

Her Price for it: That she be allowed to open an academy within his faction. She would happily demonstrate proof.

She lounged in a club area waiting to be received, clad in her obsidian catsuit, with long, flared cuffs, clutching an obsidian spear, sipping a fruit drink, staring at a cameo. As she waited, her Force Visions showed her the two twins about to arrive. Themis of course, had much to offer...her own grand daughter was slowly coming to accept her approach...but it was tough for her still to let go. She glanced at a locket containing a picture of Laertia Io. Darth Xiphos was becoming a stronger and stronger possibility...

But Themis had to focus on the now, and the twins--and the future of her school--was the now...

Willow and Ivy stepped into the atrium club as they usually did, arms wrapped around eachother's waists. As employees of Broka's, they were entitled to a free drink a day and so they were sure to put it to good use. Of course they were never starved and could have as much to eat and drink as they wanted in their suite, but they liked the atmosphere of the club.

Most of the patrons and workers were used to seeing them by now, so they weren't openly gawked at or questioned. Their talents were known, yet they weren't bugged all the time for them either.

That left them time and energy to focus on themselves. And that, more often than not, included people-watching. Darth Themis Darth Themis was a new arrival. As Ivy ordered their fruity drinks, Willow kept an eye on her.

Passing the glass to Willow, Ivy felt her sister's concerns. "Here. Try not to stare so much. Remember what happened the last time? I don't want us to scare people off again."

"It's not that. Broka's got a meeting today. Do you think that's her?"

Ivy furrowed her brows, already joining in with Willow's search along the webs of the Force, so that she could see what her sister saw. Both saw Darth Themis speaking with them and it was then that Ivy forced the connection between them and the Force to be stopped. "No, Willow. We're not going into our futures, remember? I don't need anymore nightmares. Let's just leave this alone."

"Ivy, trust me. I don't think it'll be that dangerous."

"If their futures mingle with ours, we don't look. Not now, not ever. Remember your promise?"

Willow sighed in agreement. She knew what Ivy was so concerned about and it affected them both. "I know, Ivy, I know. I promise to leave it be." After sipping her drink, she leaned her head against her sister's. At least they were always there to comfort eachother.

Most people weren't so lucky.

Themis saw them, shy beings in the Force, but full of potential. She saw some of their past as well. Servants of Broka. The kind he didn't like letting go of.

Themis ordered fruit juice eyes sliding towards Willow & Ivy Willow & Ivy as she drank. She could see their hesitance towards her. The Gift and The Curse of Foresight. Great foresight, in fact.

Well...they probably already saw this coming. Might as well not waste the seconds.

Themis, even now was uncertain if she should even be following her visions at the moment. Between finding her Grand Daughter Julia Crownwraithe (Known to everyone else as Laertia Io) and even tentatively reconnecting with her as well as finding out the Cult of The Brain Demon still existed led by Laertia's Arch Enemy, The Amalgam, Themis was scrambling for balance. A strategy. But mostly, recruits.

The Bright Lord sauntered to the twins.

"Greetings..." she spoke. "My name is Themis. I have seen you both in my sleep for many a night now, scattered and indistinct. Perhaps you have seen something of me. I can feel the sight upon you. The both of you. Might I join you? I have an interesting opportunity I want to discuss..."

"Here she comes...." Willow sat up a little taller as Darth Themis Darth Themis started her approach, causing Ivy to do the same. They took note of how she walked and moved, with Willow squeezing Ivy's hand in a bid to get her to remember her promise; no looking.

As Themis spoke, it was clear to see that the two were caught off guard with what was being said. So she wasn't there to see Broka? Not only that, but she had seen the two of them in her own dreams?

Willow sipped her drink while Ivy couldn't help herself but to speak up. "Yes, we've seen you, but...never had we come across someone that had visions of us before..." In fact the twins had NEVER had that happen before. So it drew their curiosity.

"Yes, you can come and sit. What opportunity do you speak of?"

Themis wasted no time with Willow & Ivy Willow & Ivy

"I sense in you both a powerful capability for the Light Side. I've seen it in both of you. I offer the opportunity to learn more about the Light...as a Light Side Sith would teach it..."

Themis let solid dark green lightning arc between her fingers.

"You would certainly become able to answer the threat posed by any Darksiders coming your way, for sure. I do not teach passivity, or accepting what happens. I provide the means to resist and alter your fate. You have already carved for yourself a niche in this place...but with me...you could own your own place, with a niche for others to carve out of. Or you could better protect Broka's assets. The choice is yours, obviously. But I am willing to teach you something here and now as a sample, if you will...what do you say?" Themis asked, trying to search which future led to Willow and Ivy accepting, but coming up blank...it was either/or situation. She hated those...

"Light side what?"

Willow and Ivy watched the strange lightening appear with Darth Themis Darth Themis commanding it. Neither had witnessed such a thing before and they were clearly awed by the whole experience.

"Darkiders? Do you mean the scientists that want to experiment on us or the warlords that want to make money off us?" Those were all the Dark people that they could think of. Unbeknowst to them however, none of them were Force Users at all.

"If we save up our bit of credits that we earn, we might be able to get our own place. Although our suite here is so big and beautiful."

"The best that we've ever had!" Which was true. They never had it better. That didn't say much when compared to what normal people had. But it was far better than being forced to stay in a tiny room with a tiny bed and be forced to 'perform' for credits that they'd never get to hold or spend.
