Seeking a New Path... (Aurelic/Julius)

Aurelic Vos Talen

Jedi Newcomer and Shapeshifting Marsupial
Location: Sullist

It took a strong soul to find a new path. It took a stronger soul to find a Jedi willing to train you in the new path. Luckily Aurelic was a strong soul. The Gurlanin, in the form of a young human male, with blue eyes and black hair wandered through the halls to seek one very particular Jedi: Sedaire. Someone needed to train him and it may as well should be this soul. Aurelic was unarmed and honestly slightly unprepared for what a Jedi would ask of him. He was ready to learn though.

It was a few minutes before he reached his destination. The shifter paused at the door and took a deep breathe of air. The cool, cycled air in the building filled him and gave a sense of confidence that he had not felt in a very, very long time.

"Excuse me. I have come on a long pilgrimage to ask of your presence... Excuse me?" His hand rapted at the door with a soft tap. If it was not answered, he would tap more and more and louder and louder.

Julius hadn't expected visitors, to be honest. There shouldn't have been any really, at all. While he had settled in and firmly committed to the Alliance, he had kept to himself personally. There had been no hint of friendship or camaraderie, not that he had been overtly cold or rude. There was just a mentality of a job to be done, a mission to be fulfilled. And so he had set about doing so, day by day he had increased his training regimen, and slowly he was beginning to regain the form he had when his star was on the rise in the Order. Muscle hardened, his body again resilient and his reflexes again growing almost super human, even for a Jedi Knight.

So when the knock came, along with the almost plaintive voice, he ignored it for a moment, until the rapping grew louder and more insistent. With that, he actually let his body go slack, his knees gripping to a bar set into the high ceiling of his room, causing him to hang almost like a bat as he flipped the lock with a flick of his hand, causing the door to pop open rather like a cork-gun on the next series of knocks as he began again the routine of inverted sit-ups, eyes closed in concentration, brow dripping sweat, his long hair matted and flapping as his body curled and extended with the rapid motions of the exercise. His speech was utterly unaffected by the rather extreme exertion, and indeed this appeared to be a.... normal, if you could call it that, habit for the man to address people while doing this.

"Well, whoever you are, I hope you are looking for Julius Sedaire. If you aren't, turn around, close the door, and we will forget that you were ever here. If you are, I really, really hope you have a good reason. If you're here to kill me, or try to, get on with it already, I have things to do."
