Seeking Mercs, Cutthroats and other Guns-For-Hire for a Raid

Darth Armyss

Nobleman, Sith, and Womanizer
On behalf of the One Sith, I'm seeking mercenaries who might be interested in a mission, one that is as potentially lethal as it is exciting, with an objective to hijack a historic vessel from a military shipyard at the Chiss homeworld of Csilla.

The vessel in question is this one:

The ISD Admonitor, an Imperial I-Class Star Destroyer most easily recognized by its pale blue coloration. It was at one time the flagship of Grand Admiral Thrawn during his campaigns in the Unknown Regions. I seek to obtain this historic vessel for the One Sith to upgrade for use as a fleet flagship. For those interested, I can promise handsome rewards. Any takers?

Thread's up.

Correct. Chimaera was a newer Imperial II-Class Star Destroyer that served as his later flagship during his independent campaign against the New Republic. This was his flagship sometime prior to the Battle of Hoth, and while not as infamous as Chimaera is nevertheless an iconic vessel.

Excellent, so that brings us up to three, myself included. I want to have at least six people present for the raid before we begin, as our objective is to secure the Admonitor's drydock until the One Sith Navy can send in personnel to make up a skeleton crew for the ship (unless one can bring their own men to provide a crew, at which time we can leave sooner)

Minimal force and appearance modification capabilities, as well as technological knowledge of computer systems and skills in weapons such as vibroblades, snipers, rifles, and pistols.

Excellent, because ideally we'll need to secure the drydock without alerting the defense forces. Of course, once the ship actually starts moving, all bets are off, but until then, we'll need to maintain as low of a profile as possible.

Well, what would you like to gain? If it can be bought for credits, I can get it for you (within reason, of course)

Perfect. So that brings us up to at least five now.

Galactic Imperial or Sith Imperial?

If you're referring to the former, I have a whole squadron of TIE Defenders, the One Sith Imperial Navy 71st Tactical Fighter Squadron (callsign "Bloodfin") in the case of the former. I think I can afford to spare one fighter if that's what you're looking for.

Excellent, that's the six minimum that we'll need (though I welcome anybody else who's interested). Now we just need to plan the operation in detail.

Here's what I've thought of so far for Operation "Red Hand".

Phase I
We'll arrive at the shipyards and establish surveillance to prepare for the next step. Locate the Admonitor and disable all surveillance around it

Phase II
Find a large ship, possibly a munitions carrier or something else like that on the other side of the shipyards and set a demolition charge on a timer. When the explosives go off, emergency response teams and security will be diverted to responding to the explosion and containing any resulting fires. Feel free to cause even more pandemonium at the same time, but avoid detection while doing so if possible.

Phase III
During the commotion, a large freighter carrying the assigned skeleton crew will arrive and disembark near the Star Destroyer. As soon as they're detected, the Chiss will probably know what's going on, the purpose of the bombing being to slow down the security forces and buy the Naval personnel time to reach the Admonitor. Provide cover as needed.

Phase IV
Board the Admonitor and immediately bring the weapons systems online to blast our way out of the drydock, then activate the engines, gain some distance and jump to hyperspace on a heading towards a rendezvous with the 3rd Fleet near Mindabaal. Once that has been completed, the mission is a success.

We'll all have to board at some point or another. I suppose you mean to say you'll make sure that the ship's deserted. I'll probably be going with you to search for anyone on board. If there's anyone on board, either kill them or incapacitate them and lock them in the brig.

That leaves whoever's supposed to plant the bomb and everyone who's facilitating the boarding process to get the skeleton crew aboard the Admonitor.
