[member="Danger Arceneau"] - I assume the mine is on the Invisible Island, correct me if I am wrong, making it invisible. :p And I assume you've still got a mine there considering this post, right ?

Information.

The strongest weapon that exists, stronger than the sharpest blades and stronger than the heaviest beskar shields. It was information that won every dispute be that a simple exam in school or a large-scale war to decide the fate of the galaxy.

And now information was lacking.

Jorel Haas stood in the plotting room, as he liked to call it, observing the holographic projection of the aquatic world of Maramere where the 'Argo', his Carrack-class light cruiser and his crew of pirates and ex-naval academy graduates were headed to. For one simple purpose. Acquire the highly valuable stygium crystals and in bulk. Browncoat Arms and Industrial, a massive corporation and as far as Jorel recalled, a subsidiary to the biggest corporation that existed in the galaxy at the moment - ATC.

"No word, Captain." One of his lieutenants shook his head and pursed his lips.

"Then it is decided. We proceed towards Maramere. If no word of the location of this mine and this Invisible Island appears while we travel, then our only option remains to sent down a field team to find it."

"Sir, what about scanning visually-"

"It would take too long, no. We need to get a hold of the location as soon as possible." Captain Haas interrupted another lieutenant of his. "When the location is found we will hit-and-run. Our purpose until then must remain as concealed as ever."

"So what are we, Captain? Not much identities to go with as a Carrack-class light cruiser."

"Easy." Jorel let a grin paint his face. "We will the exact opposite of what we are."

"Oh Sp-"

"Spacelane Vigilantes. Exactly."

Browncoat Arms Underwater Facility

[member="Jorel Haas"] would have to get his credits back from the two-bit information broker that gave him false information. Browncoat Arms and Industrial was nowhere near Invisible Island. In fact, that had been discovered and then transferred out of the hidden caches out by the Omega Protectorate. Since then, the Techo Union had taken control of the planet, and following the opening of its door to several companies, had invited Saiba, Browncoat, Salacia Consolidated, and a number of other government run companies to potentially establish their own mines... while other unknown entities slipped unnoticed much like the Exchange. Since then, some of those old Techno Union facilities might have fallen to the wayside.. who knew!

If Jorel Haas was searching for the specific Invisible Island noted in history, he will find it... well empty, with nary any Browncoat Industrial buildings or employees there. The Omega Protectorate had been thorough for their own use in their stealth craft.

However, this was not a total loss. In fact, he would find it rewarding if he used his scanners, he would find other islands or caches previously undiscovered may benefit him. All the more easier to simply find unprotected stygium in small amounts and then burn lines in the sky. Afterall, who wants to deal with the Queen of Trade's wrath when it comes scoundrel pirates with enough temerity to hit what is "me and mine."

The Argo made its way through the vast amount of space it had to cover to reach Maramere, its sublight engines roaring as it soared through the nothing. Leaning over on the rail of the viewport and smoking, a typical position one could find Jorel Haas, the Captain contemplated over what was to happen. The aquatic world drew nearer and slowly it began taking over the view of the viewport.

"We're in scanning range, Sir." The scanner officer notified Jorel and the captain turned to him.

"Go ahead, start scanning. Let's see if we can find anything unusual, look for mining activities. Even with stygium around we're bound to catch something unusual. Look for cargo haulers travelling around." The captain replied reluctantly, he did not believe they would find anything.

"Understood, Captain."

"Um, Sir, there's a holocall for you." Levrin, his first mate, broke the silence and made Jorel turn to face him.

"Who is it ?"

"Krel. Down from Maramere."

"Put him through." Jorel said bluntly while tapping on his wrist datapad.

"Si-..." The holocall was patched through and chaotic background laughter exploded on the speaker.

"I cannot hear you, Krel." Captain Haas said with a tone of annoyance in his voice.

"Sir." Krel's voice was heard much clearer now as he had possibly gone to a quieter place. "The Invisible Island. It's...It's long completely mined...that's why they were laughing."

"Go on." Jorel said grinding his teeth, anger seeped into his veins.

"There's still remaining caches around the planet, we only need to find them. Mostly abandoned Techno Union facilities. We only need to find one that has not been ransacked."

"A race against other looters, I assume ?" Jorel raised an eyebrow.

"Exactly, Captain." Krel replied.

"Keep getting us information down there, Krel. I have another call to make."

"Yes, Captain." The line was cut off and Jorel turned to his first mate.

"Find me a few good bounty hunters and patch 'em in." The Captain said seriously. "And full speed ahead to Maramere. Let's find that stygium cache."

It was payback time.
