[+]Doctorb: Sel has medical training as a Doctor. This training means he is a capable practitioner, surgeon, and has basic knowledge in most medical fields. This training has also given him an intimate knowledge of the anatomy and physiology of various species throughout the galaxy. This knowledge aids Sel in being an expert close combat fighter, and he has absolutely no qualms in using his medical knowledge in a fight.

[+]Intelligence: Though hardly a Genius, Sel is quite intelligence. Far from the 'brutish' stereotypes of most Mandalorians, Sel prefers to wait, watch, and plot rather than jumping in and fighting. Though he is no coward, Sel is far more likely to plan a strategic way of attack rather than just rushing in. For him, it is more important to look at all the angles than to just rush in and take his revenge.

[-]Arrogance: Sel believes in the superiority of the Mandalorian Culture. Though he claims no blood lineage or anything of the sort, Sel genuinely believes that the merit based society of the Mandalorians naturally outstrips any that the Jedi, Sith, or other form of governments hold. In his mind there is nothing better than a society where the strong rule and nepotism means nothing. This often blinds him to many facets of both his people and others.

[-]Stitches: Over the years Sel has been cut up and taken apart more times than he could count. His entire body is covered in scars and stitches. At certain points in his life some of these wounds never properly healed and it is just easier to...pull Sel apart than it would be an ordinary human being.

Sel is the type of person that rubs most people the wrong way by one means or another.

Though he is not overtly 'evil' or bad, he has an incredibly studious and silent nature. Unlike most Mandalorians he is not forthright with his opinions and thoughts, preferring instead to quietly sit and absorb all information before making his decision. This most often makes other Mandalorians distrustful of Sel himself, though he is by no means disloyal to his own people.

This quiet and thoughtful nature is a reflection of Sel himself and the way he likes to do things. Rather than rushing into battle and fighting right off the bat he prefers to sit and wait, looking at all angles.

Sel also holds an extreme hatred for both Jedi and Sith, holding a grudge that dates back all the way to the Mandalorian wars.

Of course this quiet side of Sel isn't exactly golden either, and unlike many others he does not fall into certain Mandalorian traditions of 'honor'. Sel firmly and totally believes in the cause of the Mandalorians and their cultural might, taking this belief so far that he actively and without much care pursues things that most of his kin would dub unnatural.
This habit has caused many to dub Sel as a 'butcher', his experiments to further his people often taking on a rather gruesome aspect.

Sel Wyrick has always been an incredibly private, if not paranoid individual.

His presence and place within the Mandalorian Culture has always been a rather simple one, mostly that of playing doctor to the various men and women who become injured through the course of war. He has dwelled on Mandalore's moon Concordia for nearly Ten years, living there and offering free medical aid to those who seek it.

Always this aid comes at a price however, either monetary or of the flesh.

Though Sel is no Sith, he is a scientist. The price that one pays for coming to him is a simple one, being a participant in his experiments. These experiments are neither cruel nor truly evil, but instead focus upon the augmentation and enhancement of the subjects. Cybernetics, genetic treatments, even rapid muscle regeneration. All of it done within his laboratory.

These experiments are meant for good, though they do not always end well.

It is this fact that has earned Sel his nickname.

Though he has never forced a single Mandalorian to undergo his experiments, his reputation for using others as test subjects and his rather gruesome role as a scientist make many uneasy. Couple that with his rather mysterious past, and more than a few of his kin have admitted to being uncomfortable around the Butcher.
