STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES (Required: 2 Weaknesses Minimum) :
+ Deeply Educated: One of the oldest beings in his species, Selkollar has deep knowledge of the universe and the species that inhabit it. A Seer with intense knowledge of the Force, Selkollar educates himself on the strengths and weaknesses of foes before combat. Furthermore, his wisdom is well-heard by those in the community, as they assume he is correct solely due to his age.
+ Immersed in the Force: Though his physical strengths are quite lacking, Selkollar is a behemoth when it comes to his abilities in the Force. His knowledge and mastery of Force abilities comes from a painstaking journey through the galaxy. Always learning, he has a habit of abducting Jedi, Sith and other Force-users and experimenting on them on his ship. Always studying, Selkollar has intimate power when it comes to the Force and he will use it when threatened.
+ Fiercely Loyal: Loyalty is incredibly important Selkollar, to both the cause of the Bryn'adûl and to his Chieftain. Selkollar is one of Tathra's closest allies, and his unwavering loyalty translate to courage in combat. Unable to feel fear when it comes to fighting for his Chieftain, Selkollar is unafraid to fight those bigger then him. He also expects this loyalty from his Honor Guard, who surround him at all times.
- Thin Skinned: Like other Aeravalin, Selkollar has a thin skin with little scale to it. He cannot shrug off the same physical damage that others can. Because of this, he stays far from physical combat, not wanting to be crushed underneath those with more brawn then brains.
- Sickly: Being one of the first generations of those that were Vatborn, Selkollar's health is not as strong as other clones. The physical toil of age has hit his body much harder then the other Aeravalin, and it obviously shows. Due to his physical weakness, Selkollar makes sure to use the Force to help him move along. This is why he is normally seen floating a few feet off of the ground rather then walking everywhere.
- Double the Pride, Double the Fall: Selkollar is an incredibly prideful being, with serious issues stemming from his hatred of other alien beings. His fervor for absolute perfection even extends to his allies in the faction, as he even looks down upon those that are naturally born. Feeling like he was made by the Chieftain and his abilities are born from that entirely, its difficult for him to see someone beyond their origins.
APPEARANCE:
Pale white with bony protrusions throughout his body, Selkollar is not a pretty creature. The cloning process was far from perfect when he was born, and his image has paid for it greatly. Add in the fact that he has aged faster then the other Aeravalin, and its obvious why some call him ugly. Usually dressed in heavy robes and very light armor, Selkollar is usually never seen without his holy raiments. Selkollar is also quite thin, again owing to a much faster metabolism that keeps him going throughout the days. This gives him almost a gaunt visage, something that others have found unnatural. Add in his wicked temper and his love of all things dark and twisted, and you have a horrifying villain on your hands. Selkollar does not carry a weapon on his person, preferring to use his mind, the Force and his bodyguards for protection.
The Honor Guard that protect Selkollar are a point of much debate among the species. Four of them flank him at all times, surrounding the aging Seer as best as possible. Armed with their glaives and ceremonial armor, the Brutes never speak in any way shape or form. In fact, its believed that Selkollar speaks to them through the Force, and this is how they are commanded. Though it would appear this loyalty comes from companionship, make no mistake that Selkollar sees them as nothing more then as weapons. The Honor Guard are his arm, and they keep those that would harm him physically as far away as possible.
BIOGRAPHY:
One of the first Vatborn, Selkollar was created over 18 Galactic Years ago, when Tathra was first experimenting and creating their species. Selkollar was subjected to several medical experiments after he was born, in an effort to track down any unwanted mutations in his genepool. One of the first Aeravalin, Selkollar grew quickly and in time, he matured into a powerful Force adept. One of the first of his kind that could actually use the Force, Selkollar was a pioneer in the founding of the Seers. Realizing the ultimate potential of the Force and its immense abilities, Selkollar developed many skills from educating himself. Soon, he was teaching his abilities to other Seers and potential Force-Users of their species. His other Vatborn brothers went on to do other great things, but Selkollar stayed near to the gene creation side of things, watching those that came after him. Believing that Tathra was a savior to his species, Selkollar worked with him to perfect the gene sequencing and education of the generations that would come after him.
Helping to develop the Kad’Maera education system for those that were born by his will, Selkollar became a willing guide for hundreds of other of his species. With other Seers, Selkollar became a guide and adviser to many developing soldiers, shamans and scientists. Selkollar would expect nothing but perfection from his batch of clones, and for two hundred and sixty days he would do nothing more then turn them into the best they could possibly be. Selkollar was brutal in his efficiency, making sure that every student was giving their absolute best in all subjects. During this time, Selkollar worked with Tathra throughout the process, weeding out the weak and empowering those that deserved it. On the side, Selkollar made sure to continue his own education into the grand powers of the Force. Making sure to keep their rising forces a secret, Selkollar nonetheless abducted wandering Jedi and experimented on them, learning everything he could while keeping them as unwilling prisoners.
Eight years past his birth, Selkollar's faith was slightly shaken in his Savior. Natural births began occurring after cloning became a streamlined process. The aging Seer was not entirely happy with this new method, as he believed the cloning process imparted structure that could not be done through natural means. His bias towards vatborn was obvious throughout the Kad’Maera system, and other Seers constantly reminded him of the value of all of their kind. Even still, Selkollar could not disentangle his natural prejudice, and he eventually broke ties with his full-on guidance to those that were new to their species. However, making sure to keep busy, Selkollar has immersed himself into the various histories of the aliens that inhabit the universe. Learning all he can and bringing new hatred to the other xenos that live in their shared space, Selkollar is able to educate those that may not know much about them. Some call his research heresy however, as not many of their kind see value in learning about the other species that inhabit the universe. Selkollar is happy to prove them wrong one day, when his research will hopefully be proven to be useful.
Due to his advanced age and wisdom, Selkollar was eventually granted the duty of Hierarch. Cementing him as a complete spiritual guide to the rest of the Seers, Selkollar found himself once again in a teaching and guiding role for many of his own kind. Preparing them and guiding them, Selkollar became a teacher to those that had just started their journey into using the Force. Still using the brutal efficiency he was known for, Selkollar would use his natural wisdom to lead the next generation of Seers as his kind conquered the known universe.
