IC Information: Prompted by the many inequalities seen by Senator Laveaux throughout the Alliance, and expedited by the unrest in the Hapes Cluster, this bill would see a significant reinforcement of current federal equality laws. 'Equality of rights under the law shall not be denied or abridged by the Galactic Alliance or by any State on account of sex.' This new amendment will provide gender pay parity, equal property rights and access to social services, and so on. It will also reduce the grace period during which new member worlds must comply with Alliance federal law.
