- Blasterproof: As clothing goes, this gown is exceptionally durable against blaster fire in particular, able to withstand even direct hits thanks to the Dahrtagian dreamsilk lining. It is not indestructible, however—one's best bet for survival if somebody starts shooting is still to run for cover.
- Waterproof: The fabric has been treated so that it will not retain water (and become heavy) when submerged.
- Fireproof: The gown is resistant to fire damage.
- Pockets: It has pockets on the sides.
- Blessed: The garment was formally blessed by the Master of Cerements, granting the wearer protection from mental manipulation by Force Users.
- Susceptible to Chemical Damage: Exposure to strong solvents or chemicals may weaken the fiber's structural integrity and reduce its antimicrobial capabilities.
- It's Just Fabric: While versatile and advanced, Krillium Silk lacks the durability or protection of armor, making it unsuitable for heavy-duty or combat situations. The Dahrtagian dreamsilk lining will fare better, but it is also just fabric, not armor.
- Force Voids: Any Force-voiding material or substance will render the blessing inert until it is removed from the vicinity.
Much to Thelma's delight, the newly elected representative of her homeworld commissioned a set of formal wear for various political functions. The resulting wardrobe is heavily inspired by the popular fashions of Lamont, the capital of Dahrtag.
The third of these outfits is a blue and gold gown decorated with gold fringe sleeves, sequins, and intricate beading. Made for the occasion of Sycorax's return to office, the garment was blessed by the Master of Cerements, imbuing it with special protections.
