- Modular: Commandare Variant :: Utilizing less metal, the armor's Weight is reduced to 'Heavy' and Kinetic Resistance is reduced to 'High' which enables a high-ranking officer (the Captain or Admiral) to have more mobility on the field, while not making them a burden to those under their command.
- Modular: Utility Belt :: Store small items such as stim packs, medpacs, grenades, and more.
- Heads Up Display :: Allows remote viewing, recording, and zooming in on the visual scene in front of the wearer. It also provides atmospheric and environmental conditions, direction, information regarding the suit's status (including reserve air remaining), and warnings of health abnormalities of the wearer (such as high heart rate).
- Jetpack :: Brightly glowing, wing-like beams fan out to either side providing visual spectacle and additional stabilization/responsiveness in flight.
- Exoskeletal Reinforcement :: Framework of technology that can enhance the strength of the wearer.
- Secure-Lock Mounts :: Enables storing even large, portable weapons using one or both instant-lock mount points on the back. Gear can be stored instead of weaponry as needed.
- Sealable & Life Support :: Able to survive in a vacuum for an extended period of time. Rebreather or Reserve air supply can also be used in hazardous areas.
- Environmental Shielding :: Titanium and Chromium provide the ability to survive in even radioactive areas.
- Climate Controlled :: Thermoguard Bodyglove and Bistate Gel allow maintaining a constant thermal environment inside of the armor even in sweltering or freezing conditions.
- Polarizing Visor :: Protects the wearer's eyes from sudden exposure to bright lights, including the filtered rays of a star when in space.
- Magnetic Boots :: Provides secure footing especially in space on magnetic surfaces, similar to Magno-Grip Boots.
- Encrypted Transmitter/Receiver :: Secure remote communication with fellow Imperium officers and nearby Command.
- Local Communication :: A vocabulator and annunciator allow the wearer to communicate with nearby lifeforms openly and freely.

- Solar Knight >> With thick enough metal plating, anything is blockable. This armor has quite a bit Titanium and Chromium to absorb some blaster fire, and quite a bit of physical contact.
- Solar Acolyte >> A thermal regulating bodyglove, some bistate gel, and a little technology keeps the heat or cold at bay, especially in the void. Meanwhile, Chromium adds extra protection against radiation exposure.
- Solar Winds >> The wing-like stabilizers give this heavy armor surprising maneuverability in the air. Those expecting them as hobbled in the skies as they are on the ground may find themselves out maneuvered; though the agility was originally intended to evade anti-air fire.
- Solar Flare >> Wearers already need to be in peak physical condition, but a little extra at the right moment can make all the difference -- whether that strength is used to keep a hydraulic door open, deliver a knock-down blow to a sturdy opponent, or put a little extra hustle while wearing the armor.
- Grounding Rod >> Various technological means are used to suppress some forms of electrical interference with the armor's systems (especially the jetpack). Likewise, other enhancements protect the wearer from electric shock or electrocution.

- Lightsabers << The Imperium does not have Jedi and Sith wielding plasma swords for it to be a major design consideration, which leaves them vulnerable to these new, exotic weapons.
- Acid << The armor is not particularly weak to acid, especially with its thick plates of metal, but the exoskeletal reinforcement, jetpack/wings, life support, and more can be easily damaged making the armor more a giant weight on the wearer's shoulders than a tool in battle. Furthermore, its bulk makes it difficult to remove large portions of it quickly, so despite the thick metal the wearer can still easily be exposed to the acid in time.
- Solar Massive << The armor is quite heavy, requiring the wearer to be in excellent physical condition. The Imperium expects its forces to be engaging in regular physical exercise.
- Starlight << It is not intended for stealthily approaching a hostile fortification; if anything the winged jetpack and electrum is meant for the wearer to stand out in battle so their enemy can dread their arrival.

The Astrorum Imperium has no problem being bombastic. Their commandos wear armor that reflects the desire they not only be feared, but seen to be feared on the battlefield. A Star, after all, does not hide -- it annihilates. As the S.A.A. Aether, their largest ship, was being sent into the wilds of the galaxy they were given plenty of trained warriors able to wear these suits when a ground assault became necessary. Their mission was to seek and destroy the Imperium's unwitting enemies, after all.
Able to descend from the belly of the Aether, or a transport, their jetpack is enhanced with wing-like extensions enabling more agile flight. This gives them a little advantage in the sky, but is primarily meant to enable a swift and successful descent through anti-air defenses. Once grounded, the heavy armor doesn't lend itself to wearers performing acrobatic feats of daring-do; instead they advance at a regular pace with equally heavy weaponry clearing a path forward.
The Seraph Eques line of armor is meant for Imperium Commandos to get into the mess, and give the enemy no quarter.
