Biography
Born on a prison world does not do wonders for the ego, but knowing you were born there when your parents are excavating an ancient site now that adds a flourish to your story.
Serena a middle child born between Raymond and James felt wonderous at how many siblings she had. Brothers who took her side in school, sisters that helped with hair and makeup. The traveling of her parents, one a botanist the other a paleontologist Her mother had the green thumb, her father kept trying to bring the past to life both of them through the study of plants. And well her father looked for animals too but plants were his passion.
As they moved from planet to planet it was hard to stay in school, and her mother tried to home school them and often enough it was life’s experiences teaching them all. They learned and absorbed everything, the thirst for knowledge given to them through parents who made the world sound magical.
On the day the Jedi discovered her the world known as magic took on a new meaning, a new look, it was the force that guided her steps. The connection of all living things brought to life through the living force. Serena felt a sense of wonder and now she was part of it.
Comes from a very large family, she has 4 brothers, and 3 sisters. There was no such thing as privacy growing up, and there is no such thing as a secret among them. BUT don’t say anything bad about her family, she is fiercely protective of them and while she may be allowed to say what she wants about them, no one else is allowed to say it.
A trip to Voss once again puts Serena on the radar of the Jedi. While she is intrigued by the ruins surrounding the Jedi Temple she is not so sure she wants to join them. Her experiences of the past with other Master's has left her unsure, and mistrusting. Connor Harrison however promises her that those experiences of the past will not occur that she can trust these Jedi to be more understanding of her needs. He promises her that when he makes Master he will teach her everything he knows, and he will not abandon her. That he would check on her during her training. She accepts his promise and his word that these jedi are different.
Connor has left Voss and Serena begins training with Quenladose. The first day is close to being the last day. The two are like water and vinegar separated by their beliefs. Once Quenladose has said that as a human she is flawed, that she is not to be coddled, nor would she discuss Serena's mistrust. Serena left the training grounds unsure if she would return to the woman who has been assigned as her Master.
Serena sensing she needs to distance herself goes off to do some cave jumping. There are others who are attempting this for the first time. Serena with her love of the sense of freedom it brings wastes no time and jumps into the darkness. Once on the ground she begins exploring and making notes one day this information may come in handy.
Invasion breaks out on Shri-Tal. Serena already there studying a set of stone tablets is ready to fight. In the middle of the battle she finds herself stunned to stillness as pain, fear, unending screaming invade her mind. All she can see in the skies above her is a giant red circle and then within the force she sees a brilliant white presence and knows it is Connor. She does not know where he is, or what is wrong, only that something is. Upon her return to Voss she now hears and feels everyone around her. Whatever had happened on Shri-Tal has left her with a high level of empathy.
The return to Voss after the battle things are different Serena can no longer block out emotions, and images of those around her. She fails to understand this skill. She spends endless nights pacing the temple, and walking the jungles around it. Within all of the madness is a single voice asking her to come to the ruins within the Jungle. Serena believes that there is a mystic to be found there.
Connor has returned to the temple having faced whatever he needed to something is different within him. Serena senses it along with the emotions of the entire temple. He finds her once again among the ruins where they first met. She tries to explain all of it, she tries to focus to keep the sounds out. All she wants is to sleep and go to find the mystic. Connor tries reasoning with her explaining that she is not strong enough to do. Finally Serena's body can take no more and she collapses.
Days later after recovering the healers provide Serena with some medicines to help her sleep. She is off to Velusia to gather stones to determine whether the volcano is ready to erupt again, and how long since the last. Once there Serena once again finds herself in a situation that presses on her mind. Velusia has its own secrets. Serena has no idea what she has walked into by exploring a cave. The Sith have an underground facilty and within this facility are clones of other force sensitives.
Rescued from Velusia by Connor Harrison and Coci Heavenshield Serena is quickly assigned a task on Feluscia and with Anastasia Rade they go and enter the oddest of plant life seen (ongoing)
The encounter on Velusia has left Serena a bit shaken she knows that her skills must increase she goes to Connor and asks him to teach her resistance. They once again dance back and forth on what their relationship is Serena admits to him what she has thought of him, he does not say much which is a first. Serena stops and at the moment she realizes she is not being herself she goes into a long dissertation of things jumping from one thing to the next. Until she stops and hugs Connor, who in turn hugs her. It is confusing. He begins to assault her mind with words that stab knives into her emotions she wonders does he truly feel this way and was that why it was so easy for him to say them.
The training with Connor has left her uncertain she disappears into the wilds and meets Seydon of Arda the monster killer. She begins to understand that the galaxy is not the playground she once thought. During their conversation she is called to be sent to her next assignment.
Venris Helion and Serena face the unpredictable twists and turns of a long forgotten temple. It is during this that Serena finds two of the ancient tapestries that hung in the temple on Coruscant. She cannot believe the find they should be dust by now. She closes the lids on the chests and vows to come back for them. It was a trial a test to lure Venris to an entity that would not identify itself. A choice is given to Venris to stay or go. He decides to go, it is the end of their time together. They part friends with the hint of something to happen in the future Venris tells Serena " Force be with you, Serena. And supposing I don't meet my supposedly horrifying end, I'll give you that kiss I promised" What else was started within those temple walls?
But the event of Netherworld occurs as she travels back to Voss once she is there she encounters only one other Silver Jedi. In her rush and panic to find others she steps through a rift into Netherworld and is slammed with the emotions of Akala. There is no force it flickers a times the emotions of thousands slam into Serena. When they reach the planet Arion on the back of Akala and the force is restored Serena cannot handle the overload of emotions and slips into unconsciousness. When she awakens, she does not remember her name a woman named Vanessa offers her help which she accepts
Serena is promoted to the rank of Jedi Knight.
Serena tries to have some relaxation while learning more about surviving as a Jedi. She hopes to practice alter environment on the open swamps of Dagobah. Her she feels her connection even stronger to that of the force, the life that surrounds her while there reminds her of just how singular she is, and just how insignifant.
A Jedi is not all about the force sometimes they must learn something completely physical to learn new skills. At the Jedi Academy she enrolls in a class given by Master Phylis Alice on alkahest a form of Jedi alchemy. Serena is in love with the class.
And now the chapters are written and here is the twist, all along following the story of Serena and Ren believed to be the same person. This twist is...they are not.
One a happy, serene baby who the parents named Serena. The other called Renada for her determination in seeing all things she did come true. She is law unto herself. Both girls are force sensitive but even here they are opposites Ren the stronger more dominant demanding personality turning to the darkness while Serena walked the path of light.
Serena left the crowded confines of the core worlds for the Outer Rim where she encountered [member="Coren Starchaser"], and [member="Seydon Gunn"] who helped her along her journey in knowing herself and trying to understand what monsters are really made of. And where she could do what she wanted with her archaeology without the crowds of the core.
Ren however assumed Serena's name when it was to her advantage. Her most advantageous assumption was when she met [member="Mythos"] a man who understood the need for power who fed the desires to stand on the shoulders of others to Ren. She sat by watching him weave his web of darkness giving him children to continue their line and to fulfill the destiny they each saw.
Serena is in the Outer Rim with Coren trying to find pieces of memory that she can no longer claim as her own wondering if the connection between twins was strong. Serena the Empath who plucked emotions from the air as easily as one reaches for a glass of Water.
Ren able to see the future from her own point of view as she impressed it upon others round her. Ren uses her knowledge of sciences and archaeology to further her position. When she was taken captive by [member="HK-36"] he was able to remove the darkness from her and reveal the same personality that Serena had. One of a sweet caring woman sweet enough to convince him to let her go. She did leave nearly broken she searched for the remnants of her life to build again. When on Korriban a familiar voice calls and she runs to it find once again the love that she thought long dead. Mythos, alive...and full of vengeance. But now even between them there is a secret how long will it take Ren to find out what Mythos has done....what is the fate of their beloved boy Adas James and how long will the precious girl be safe on Dagobah.
The story moves on now and where it will end remains to be seen.
