Serena Harth
Muckraker
Biography
Serena was born on Nar Shaddaa, the product of a one-night stand between Cato Harth and an unknown Zeltron woman. Serena was carried and delivered without Cato ever knowing, and some months later, after Cato was already in a new relationship with Inanna Yomin, Serena was left on her father's doorstep. Together, Cato and Inanna resolved to raise the girl together, becoming engaged the same day and married shortly after.
Serena's infancy was marred by the nature of her homeworld; Cato and Inanna acted as vigilantes on Nar Shaddaa, which brought enemies to their doorstep on more than one occasion, including one which even kidnapped Serena. She also began to suffer health issues, and developed asthma thanks to the planet's relentless pollution. Before long, the Harths resolved to leave Nar Shaddaa behind, taking up refuge on the Ithorian Herdship Vonnuvi, where Serena's formative childhood years were spent. When she was a toddler, her parents adopted another child, Ashur, who was orphaned by the destruction of Csilla.
Though she received some preliminary Jedi training at the Vonnuvi Enclave, Serena's Force-sensitivity was on the lower side, and her interest in becoming a Jedi at all even lower. In her teen years, Serena decided to leave Jedi education behind entirely, and pursue her own interests outside the shadows of her parents.
Serena's path eventually landed her in the field of investigative journalism, reporting on the current state of the galaxy and uncovering the truth wherever it may hide. She musters her father's same headstrong courage in the pursuit of righteousness, and applies it to the power of the pen.
