SEVA BEROYA

BACKGROUND

Spoiler: TLDR for the lazy

-Seva was a small Foundling after the attack on Rothana and was taken to Vlemoth Port and inducted into Clan Beroya
-Trained hard, found a baby Narglatch, passed her Verd'goten
-More wars
-Was eventually chosen as Alor of the Clan after some events
-Adopted new training methods from the Talz and the Clan was turned into formidable Force hunters.
-Seva leads her Clan and some assets to join the Mandalorian Neo-Crusaders, whishing to hunt Forcers.

Seva wasn't born a Mandalorian. Instead, she was born into her own culture on Mirial as Seva Ormall. Not that it lasted very long. With Mirial's tumultuous history, falling between Sith and Imperials and back, her parents decided to leave their homeworld and moved to Rothana in the Abrion Sector when she was still a little girl, which seemed to be one of the more secure planets in a Galaxy of strife.

As the planet fell under the Mandalorian Enclave's territory at the time, the Ormalls believed themselves to be safe. And they were, for a time. Until the Brotherhood of the Maw's attack on the planet. Like so many others on the planet, tragedy struck the Ormalls almost completely when the original shipyard had come crashing down to the surface.

As she was still a small child, Seva ended up as the sole survivor of her family. Injured and young, Seva could do nothing but cry in the ruin. Until the T-Visor of a green Mandalorian Helmet came into her view.

It was a young Jan Beroya that had found her, nursed her back to health. Though she was renamed as Seva Beroya, she became the entire Clan's responsibility, as Jan almost immediately had to increase her duties with their Alor Shel succumbing to her injuries sustained during the Rothana attack.

Everything was explained to her, including that her original family didn't make it. This fueled Seva throughout the rest of her growing years and during her training. Eventually, she aced her Verd'goten. In this time, however, she had come across an orphaned Narglatch kitten in the jungles around Arumorut. Endeavouring to raise it and having her own war-beast, just like the Talz, Seva took the kitten in and raised it.

She had grown up with stories about how the Clan evolved over the centuries. How Shel had planned to lead them into a new, more honourable era.
Jan had taken that to heart herself, though not Alor herself, she had continued to lead the Clan on a more aggressive path than mere bounty hunting. Teaming up with the Munins from Concord Dawn, they became a formidable force on the battlefield.

Seva, having been raised with the same mindset, had turned into an even more formidable warrior than her namesakes, driven by her need to destroy the Sith.

The hardships for the Clan and the Enclave didn't end throughout these events, however. As they have all recovered from the brutal attacks by the Maw, a new threat reared its head. As the Enclave reclaimed its old territory, the Jedi started meddling in Mandalorian affairs, opposing the Enclave around every turn. Eventually, the Enclave had no choice but to declare war on the Alliance.

It was during this war, that Kel Awaud, their Alor then, was killed in battle. Though he died honourably, it was still seen as an injustice to the Mando'ade. In the aftermath, it was thought that Jan would naturally take over, however, she had already ended up marrying Adenn Munin and had almost no interest of being Alor.

Seva, then a young adult and Mando'ad in her own right and who has proven herself as a hardy warrior on the battlefield against the Jedi, was then turned to for leadership. Though still young, she didn't shy away from being chosen. She stepped up.

But then the Enclave receded, choosing to rally around Kestri and leaving the rest of Wild Space to fend for itself. With Clan Beroya having always been independent of influences, endured.

But the hatred for Force Users also endured.

The injustices done to Seva - the death of her original family at the hands of the Sith, as well as the injustice of the Clan lives lost in the battles against the Jedi, had driven Seva to repaint her armour to personify Justice itself. In the few years that followed the recession of the Enclave, Seva and the rest of the Clan trained. They endeavoured to remain the hardy warriors they had turned into, but they also trained to go back to their roots - hunting.

Combining the two disciplines, Seva ensured that they were all ready to hunt something much more dangerous and strong than a mere criminal. She made sure that they would sniff out Force Users and see them brought low. Enlisting the Talz to teach them some more unconventional methods for hunting and warfare, Clan Beroya pivoted its skills and tactics.

Now, word had reached them of a new movement to the east. One equally opposed to both the Sith and the Jedi. Sounding like a Crusade worth joining, a relatively large number of them traveled to the Mandalore System, leaving only what was necessary to safe-guard their home behind on Vlemoth Port. Even Seva's fully grown Narglatch Beviin accompanied them, along with a number of newly trained Narglatches and the majority of the Clan's basilisks.

Seva and her Clan would enter another crusade - and would see this one more successful than the last.

PERSONALITY

Seva is a determined woman who, due to how she was raised and by whom, has evolved into a strong leader. She is goal-driven to see her Clan regain their honour as fierce warriors.

Though she can be ruthless in her pursuit for justice for her families, she is not mindless. She may hold the Force accountable for the misfortune for both her families, she is not unreasonable. With a bit of determination from the person, Seva can be appealed to.

She also has a strong sense of loyalty - first and foremost to her Clan who had taken her in at her worst and had made her the stalwart woman she is today. Seva also has a great attachment to her Narglatch Beviin and would protect the large feline with her life.

Though she is tough as nails and want to see her people regain their honour, Seva does have a lighter side as well. She can drink and be merry just like the rest of her kin - if she's with someone she trusts. She usually makes sure that she has a good reading on someone before letting them in past her walls.

STRENGTHS & WEAKNESSES

STRENGTHS
​

+Mandalorian - Though she wasn't born one, Seva had been turned into a lethal warrior with the usual skills that goes with being Mando'ad.
+Lethal Hunter - Aside from the usual Bounty Hunting skills learned within the Clan, Seva made sure they learn even more skills from the Talz, enabling the Clan and herself to Hunt even more dangerous prey than criminals. She is highly skilled in Hunting Force Sensitives - especially Sith and Jedi.
+Beast Rider - Also learned from the Talz was subduing especially Narglatch, but also other beasts for riding them into battle. But it's not limited to just organic beasts - basilisk war droids also serve as war mounts for Seva and her Clan.
+Sharpshooter - Seva doesn't miss easily. She hits what she shoots at.
+To the Stars - With naval warfare being an integral part of the Clan, Seva learnt from a young age how to both pilot a ship as well as command a capital vessel. She is well rounded in both and Clan Beroya still commands a vast fleet.
+Leader - Seva is a natural leader and with the skills that Jan and others equipped her with growing up, she turned into a proper Alor capable of leading her people in and out of battles.
+Wax On, Wax Off - Seva was trained from a young age how to fight with nothing but legs and fists. This skill greatly increased when the Clan as a whole received training from the Talz. The Mirialan doesn't need a weapon or beast to be lethal - even unarmed she can stand her ground against an opponent.

WEAKNESSES
​

-Not a wizard - For all her skills, Seva is still not Force Sensitive. Even as a skilled Mandalorian, her reaction time will be slower than a Jedi or Sith's.
-Justice or Vengeance? - There's a fine line between the two. Though in her mind, she merely seeks justice for her families, in reality she is vengeance-driven, pushing her to the darker side of things. Though it is possible, appealing to her as a Force User might be difficult.
-Not Zorro - Though she's good with a beskad, she's still no blademaster like some Mando'ade. She might be able to defend herself for a little while, but against a duelist, she stands little chance with her own blade.
-Young - Though an Alor, Seva is still young compared to others holding similar titles. Her experience isn't as vast as she would like it to be, so she can be outsmarted by someone more experienced.
-Trust Issues - Seva doesn't trust easily. Outside her Clan, you'd have to ride through hell and back with her before she'll let you in past her walls and tells you anything past superficial things.
-Too attached - Seva really loves her Narglatch Beviin and wouldn't risk him if there's an increased chance of losing him. This can be used against her - get to her cat and you get to her.
