Faith was struggling on where she needed to be first. She had been on Manaan during difficult times with the Republic. She wasn't sure she wanted to return there it did not hold warm memories for her. She remembered it all too well, too vividly.

Then there was Zeltros. The shining pink planet of Zeltros, she had never been there. It was on her bucket list to go, but how would it look the Queen of Alderaan on Zeltros. Zeltros the party planet known for gambling, parties, and pheromones. However she had heard about a place owned by [member="Joza Perl"] and thought it would be fun to investigate. She did love to dance.
Decisions decisions.

The ship she traveled on slipped quietly through the folds of space. Faith looked out at the darkness if it weren't for beacons and maps they wouldn't know where to go. That's how she felt right now in darkness without a map that said go this way. She sat in silence thinking about where to go, waiting for her intuition to kick in and tell her.

She sighed heavily looking over at Ana, this would be Ana's last trip off world with her for a while. Ana and Captain Lindsey were having a baby. It was time for Ana to start cutting back and prepare her home for the new life she carried. Faith was happy and sad at the same time looking at Ana, happy for the baby, sad because she would miss Ana.

"Have you decided?" Ana asked, Faith just shook her head, "no and for a bit yet I don't have to say it's the same course no matter what." Ana had been with Faith on Manaan she knew why Faith hesitated. The memory of the events still made Faith shiver.

Faith turned her gaze once more to the void outside. Added to her concerns she missed Draco. They had thought as their children got older they would enjoy more time together, but it seemed the opposite had happened. They spent less and the weight of being Queen rested heavily upon her shoulders, complicated by heading up the Coalition. Add in one other little thing, Bud's birthday was tomorrow and thoughts of her son kept creeping in. How she missed his little face or hearing him call her.

Tears well up Faith quickly reached up to brush them away before anyone noticed. This really wasn't going to be a good week for negotiating not with all these thoughts making her uneasy.

Myles knew what Queen [member="Faith Organa"] had wanted established on Manaan. The planet was a medical marvel, producing many breakthroughs in the research of Kolto and its many applications. Davorak wasn't well versed in medical technology as Doctor [member="Rashae"] Lovous but he knew what advantages Manaan could hold.

He was tasked with establishing a listening post underwater. This would provide the much needed ears on the planet. How this would be accomplished? Myles always found a way. The Old Man prepped this mission back on Alderaan with a few of his men.

They had come to Manaan under the guise of sub-aquatic engineers that would be "tasked" with monitoring and fixing the life support of one particular "Lab 3B". Lab 3B would be where he and his men would discreetly establish a listening post to monitor situations here on Manaan.

Davorak had the papers and identification that should grant them access. With him he brought three other men: Hale, Parker and Hawkins.

The "Engineering" equipment was contained in a boxed hoversled. This actually contained the surveillance equipment needed, but was covered up with welding tools and other utility equipment to remain "hidden in plain sight".

Myles had Hawkins push the cargo while the others would act as security and backup in case things got hairy. The Order of Shasa was still a thing here on Manaan so they had to tread carefully. Heading to a submarine dock, a Selkath come up to them and briefly said "ID and order papers please. You cannot depart until clearance is authorized."

"Oh yeah, sure thing here you go. We came for Lab 3B's life support." Parker said to the Selkath as he handed the papers.

Time to see if the forgery and resource acquirement pulled through with this duped information.

Manaa: Mission Kolto and Progenitor observation

Doctor Rashae Lovous could barely contain her excitement of being on Manaan. Biologically it was heaven. Her science team was with her ready to land as a sub mariner ship was ready for them. Their goal was to observe and document the Progenitor. Get samples hopefully as that particular specimen had some unusual qualities that is rarely documented. Rashae’s reputation had garnished her the priviledge of seeing it.

The underlying goal was to get Kolto cuttings. She didn’t need whole plants. She could do quite a bit with cuttings. She made sure Myles knew where she was at any given time since they were there though on different goals. Her mission was not close to what Myles was doing. As far as she knew it had to do with the Queen’s security and that’s all. Besides she had Progenitors and Kolto on her mind, not boring security stuff.

Getting through the Order of Sasha was not that difficult for her considering her credentialing. Rashae’s reputation as a scientist was known. Her and her team loaded their equipment into the sub mariner ship and prepared to submerge. They had an hour or so wait till they got to their location. She brought a couple of her technical crew as well. They helped set up her computers and other technical equipment as well as keep ears on for their security. The Order said they would be safe as long as they minded the rules.

“Beautiful.” Rashae said as they approached the wild Kolto fields where the Progenitor patrolled. There was documentation of her patrol route but that was unsubstantiated as they waited. Their Selkath guides and pilots brought the sub mariner to a hault to wait to see if she crossed in this location. Kolto grew tall and huge here somehow. “Initial reports have specimens of Kolto only 20 to 30 feet only. These must be 100 feet or more?”

One of her scientist was scanning initial data. “220 feet Minister. That’s the max one so far. “ All of them looked at this ancient field with a wonder.

Rashae nodded. “That is fantastic. Continue your scans and readings. We need samples of the water as well. Prepare wet suits and diving gear. “ She said crisply. This was exciting.

Rhythmic pounding of music flooded the air. Bodies littered the dance floor. They crowded the floor. One could hardly see the many colored twinkling lights that traveled up and down the dance floor. These wicked beings they swayed to the beat of the melody. Their bodies intertwined rubbing and doing things it would not be polite to mention. This club was filled with this barbaric lustful display of downright filthiness.

All of that would not bother The Living Force. It would not bother Theo. What mattered was this….

All the birth control! How can life happen with that horrible drug being around? The Living Force pulsed. It fluttered with agitation. Something was about to happen. What would that something be?

Objective: Convince Manaan and Zeltros to join the Coalition
Post 2 of 22 (based on 5 writers for 110 posts)
Location: Traveling to Manaan

When the Coalition began to consider other worlds that might wish to join them there were a couple of thoughts. Manaan and Zeltros at some time in their history had been subjugated by another opposing force like the Sith or Republic. Their resources taken to supply a larger opposing force.

Faith wanted to speak with the leaders of both worlds about joining the Coalition to help protect their resources, to trade with who they desired, and to be able to make alliances with who they desired not have it dictated to them who they could have relationships with.

This was Faith's proposal. She was going to try and meet with the Leaders of both worlds. The Queen of Zeltros, and the Ruling body of Manaan. She dreaded Manaan the most.
She couldn't change the past, she could only try and reach out to them to say, there is a better way. She could share with them that they already had a Non-Aggression agreement with Commenor, and that the Galactic Alliance was a friend to the Coalition.
The Coalition needed friends and the benefit of free trade. She hoped she could convince everyone they too could benefit.

Faith nodded she had finally come to a decision on where to go first. "Manaan first, then Zeltros maybe after everything is done if I'm on Zeltros I can spend a few hours at a spa." She heard that Zeltrons had a way to make everyone feel good and relax. She could use some of that this week.

Manaan first she finally said it. If she could convince them both it would put them also on the border of the Mando'ade the Coalition will have to reach out to them as well and seek a non-aggression agreement. That is IF they convinced the leadership that the Coalition was ready.

She couldn't help but think about Manaan. Who was there that first day, Jack Sparrow , Ali Hadrix the Supreme Commander of the Republic Fleet, Alyesa Organa, and how they debated over the ability of the Republic to protect Kolto and the Selkath of Manaan. Genieve Lasedri era had come to an end at her own hands, taking what reputation the Republic had with her the Selkath had reason for concern. Everyone had reason for concerns then, including Faith.

But that was then, this was now and Faith needed to remember who she was.

The Coalition could use the Kolto for their hospitals but they wanted to buy it from Manaan at a fair price. Even though Bacta was more cost effective in the long term. But a supply of Kolto would help the patients who feared and hated bacta. Some felt they were being swallowed whole panicking and causing further damage to their injuries. They would also buy bacta as its properties were excellent for healing those that didn't mind being slimed or were allergic.

Then there was the possibility that the Minister of Medicine, Rashae could make Kolcta. Maybe. If Alderaan and the Coalition could do that...wow. It was unthinkable what kolcta could do for the injured.

Ocean-de-Conscience.jpg

The large research vessel slowly bobbed and floated in the water with a gentle lapping of waves. They were smack dab in the middle of the ocean, islands and any form of land mass left far behind. Quiet had fallen over most of the crew, working diligently in the baking sun. Eyes squinted out over the sea, searching for nothing in particular. Judah was lost in thought. Early research showed the possibility of metals on the ocean floor that would propel their next project into the future.

Various drones and sub-marine vessels were being prepped. A marine scientist was aboard to help them keep damage to any kolto a minimum. Geologists to assist their metals search, deep sea mining specialists. If everything went well Salacia would be putting in underwater mining facilities and an off-shore platform.

"Sure you don't want to ditch this and head to Zeltros? I don't think we need to be standing over keeping watch."

Judah sighed, taking in Zej. The large Pantoran was nearly as blue as the sea before them.

"Positive. Nothing on Zeltros for me anyways....No ocean, can't exactly mine on a party world anyways."

"Nothing for you? Hoards of beautiful women dying to be on your arm is nothing?"

"If you're so interested in these hoards of women I can give you a couple thousand, go ahead and have your fun. We won't leave without you."

"I'm not the one who needs the fun."

Research Kolto and Progenitor influence
Post Count: 2

Doctor Lovous knew that Myles Davorak was around Manaan somewhere. Her focus solely was transfixed on the kolto forests she was about to enter. The divers were given strick instructions to get water samples, soil samples, readings and other data from their surroundings.

The sharks and other marine life were nice and sedate. Nothing was alarming. Rashae slowly moved her legs in a up and down scissor motion as she moved her way to the larger kolto specimens. She put her hands on the ‘trunk’ of it as she rubbed it up and down as if she was petting a dog or cat. She turned upside down and started swimming along its length to the bottom and then into the forest itself.

She had a suspicion that these had to be some of the oldest if not the oldest Kolto plants she had ever seen and certainly not recorded. Rashae had no intention of harvesting kolto but she was taking samples. The doctor took out of a pouch these special small tube like devices. Kolto was very hardy and repair itself rather quickly. She jabbed it into the base about a foot off of the sand and pulled out. It collected fibers and cells. There was a lot Rashae could do with cells.

“Someone get the core sampler out. I want a core sample of this bed here. “ She ordered.

“We are taking a core sample ease of you. These beds are fantastic. “ Said the scientist on the other end.

“Excellent, when you finish come to my location. “ As she moved up the large old one in the middle of the forest of Kolto she was in as she jabbed a new one in to garnish a sample from another location. How is she going to age these plants? How old can they grow and do they take to cuttings? Rashae heard a rumor that they did take to cuttings. Why is it they take to cuttings but whole plants are harvested? There could be far easier ways and self sustaining ways to harvest Kolto. Rashae would gather several of these samples from several large specimens.

Firaxan sharks were swimming up above slowly in a lethargic way. From behavioral documentation, they don’t seem to bother much aside from hunting. They tend to frenzy if you over harvest the Kolto. The stories of them frenzying on scientist was interesting. Considering there was no need to harvest whole plants. Still there were precautions before she attempted to take cuttings. The crew came to get a core sample of the soil down near the older Kolto specimens section. The amount of firaxan sharks increased steadily.

“Those who can get back to the sub mariner, get back. Bring the cage to this location. “ She ordered. The cage being a large durasteel construction with ‘bars’ in it that the divers could get into and be fairly protected while working. Sonic bursts were emitted if it was felt they were too close. Rashae had the cage and set up moved to a younger bed to procur cuttings. She did not need the whole plant. The doctor said she was not going to harvest and she isn’t, but she will get her samples.

For a moment it was an odd serenity, quiet and tranquil as the stars slowly began to stretch. The black void turned blue and the once shimmering stars becoming nothing more than streaks across the tunnel that burrowed though space. The vessel had been in orbit around Alderaan, gathering with a handful of others, and while some were off to Manaan, her own was moving towards a world known across the galaxy. In ancient bygone eras it had withstood multiple invasions, only because those invading forces put down their arms and joined in the debauchery and revelry that had already claimed the world. Perhaps that's why a bloodline of the Vampirika found their way to Zeltros and claimed it as their new home.

The woman smirked, a hint of her fang appearing for a moment as her hands slowly lift the heavy helm from her brow. Setting it down before her, she looked out towards the window, watching and now waiting for the moment they would arrive. They had their own reasons for going to Zeltros, and partially it was to make contact with the bloodline there. There was also another reason, and it was one that she did not share with others for fear of what they might say or do to delay or derail those plans.

Leaning forward she pressed her hands against the lip of the view screen, her golden hues peering out into the void of hyperspace, watching it slip by as the vessel tunneled on towards its destination. When she felt the hand upon her shoulder she merely looked over for a moment, giving a silent nod towards the woman that now stood by her side.

"Knight-Lieutenant Jiktar".

"Ma'am."

It was a simple exchange between the two, not needing words beyond simple nods for their greeting. The two had a history just as long as her history with Braxis. While she could have just as easily made her way to Zeltros without the escort, she still felt it may be needed. Then again Knight-Captain Krig hadn't been that agreeable and was rather pushy when it came to the decision. Ultimately Amelia found herself calling on her personal guard to join her.

Sitting up, she stretched for a moment before turning, her hand gracefully plucking a datapad from the hand of an officer that approached. A silent nod met the salute that was given before she looked to the information. Her hand slowly scrolling along the data as her eyes moved across each line. A smirk crossing her lips as she handed it to the woman at her side.

"It would appear that we're expected by the Aishul."

With the submersible docked, Myles took a quick second to collect his racing thoughts. The pressure from the ocean wasn't totally present but he felt some of it. The Lab's systems were good at depressurization but still he felt....different.

With Parker, Hale and Hawkins in tow with the hoversled, the squad disembarked the sub and found the sub-pen empty of any Selkath. Will it really be this easy? He said to himself.
Hawkins would tow the hoversled on his own since he was the acting technician for this op.

Parker and Hale; along with Myles would be acting as cover and fire suppression should things go south.

The room they were in was some sort of...observation vestibule, possibly in regards to monitor incoming subs/vessels. Most of the systems in here may be on some auto setting which explained the reduced Selkath presence.

The ramp at the end of the observation deck led into some sort of maintenance area, with railed stairways leading to engineering hatches and the like no doubt.
39ab8439bd5030b89b4ad1bb358d944e.jpg
The men entered this maintenance room, at the same time Hawkins spoke up and said "This would be a good place to set the equipment up sir. I can splice into their feeds and install this equipment no problem"

At times Myles would question how his men came to acquire such knowledge but he didn't have time for that now.
"Do it Hawkins. Parker, go down those stairs and keep a watch out. Hale, go back to the Sub-pen and monitor for any vessels approaching. Ill stay here with Hawkins and get this welder in place for 'use'"

After he was finished giving orders, his men went to work. Hawkins was grabbing his surveillance equipment from the hoversled and set them to the side as he opened an access panel on one of the computer systems. It had readings of some sort, but it was communicating with surface readings as well. This console no doubt would allow the proper range to "listen" to anything of importance.

Now all we do is wait and make sure nothing goes fething south. His fingers were getting antsy and sweat was starting to bead up on his head. The temperature in this "Lab" was almost questionable, it was pretty warm down here for some reason......

Club Blush

Heavy bass thrummed throughout the building, the sort of feeling that you could feel resonate deep into your core. Fantastically colored lights strobed over every surface, highlighting and contouring the many bodies that packed the dance floor. Blush was in full swing as it typically was on a weekend night.

The club had been a staple of Zeltros Indigo District for a while, though it had recently changed hands into Joza Perl—a former waitress and dancer who risen her way through the entertainment industry. Blush was not the only structure she owned, nor was it the nicest or the most high tech, but it was the one she held closest to her heart. Closer than the clinics and the The Semmelweis, closer than her dance studio. It was Blush where she’d gotten her start, Blush where she’d learned to dance and Blush where she met her first love and the father of her child. Here she had history.

And she intended to keep the party alive. Though not always on Zeltros, she’d found her way back home after hearing of The Free World’s Coalition interest in protecting the planet. It had been a long time since a major power had laid claim to Zeltros and it made her wary. It made all of them a bit wary, despite the planet’s atmosphere, given that their last interaction with a galactic power had been the One Sith razing of their planet.

All in all though, this Coalition seemed to be on the more neutral side of things—thank the Force for that. There were a handful of groups that could have nabbed Zeltros by now, forcibly subjugating the planet. These Alderaan based people didn’t seem the type.

Shifting through the crowds with measured grace, Joza made her way toward the bar. “How’s it going, Ted?” The Zeltron male in question looked up and gave her a distracted smile. “Busy tonight Miss J, we might run out of Sullustan Gin."

Objective: Talk to Manaan about joining the Coalition

This would be the third time Faith landed on Manaan as she stepped off the ship she looked around to see how much of Ahto City was the same and what had changed. The representative of the Council was already moving towards Faith as she stepped out.

"Greetings Ambassador Organa, welcome to Manaan. I am Chata and I am here to help you navigate the customs of the Selkath during your talks." He looked over and Faith nodded.

Faith smiled, "thank you" The selkath's coloring of shades of steel blue upon storm gray skin was lovely. She had been fortunate that when she last met with the Council there were others representing Manaan of different shades, pink and green. It reminded her of the shells she found on the beach on Alderaan elegant and lovely to look at but the Selkath were not as fragile as the shells.

"I hope that this is not a bad time to come" The air was heavy with water she could feel it on the breeze as it gently blew across Ahto City. It felt a lot like the Apalis Coast at home. She could remember everything when it was associated with water. She could remember the color of the sky, the way she felt, and how happy she was there. Now standing again she could remember details about that day here on Manaan.

"No Mam a discussion was held and we knew that someone would come calling to discuss the position of Manaan we just did not know who it would be." In truth they had looked at all that surrounded them and waited to see who would make the first move to speak with them. Or invade them depending upon who came.

Faith nodded, "Yes given what Manaan offers and it's position on the galactic map once again Manaan falls under the eyes of those around it" they had looked an noticed how close Manaan was to the Mando'ade and only after long debate did they decide to attempt to talk with Manaan.

Chata looked at Faith, "You look familiar mam. Have you been here before?" There were tiny shivers appearing in his skin as if he were cold. Or perhaps it was just the way his skin shimmered under the sun.

"Yes I have been here before." She did not wish to hide anything from them, "I was here with the Galactic Republic" Chata nodded, "ah yes..they are long gone now."

She nodded in agreement, "Yes they are."

They entered into the Council Hall and then passed through to the Conference Center. It was the same as before. Perhaps a different shade of color but it felt the same and the Council all looked the same.

"I bring you greetings from the Free Worlds Coalition, I am Faith Organa of Alderaan. Thank you for seeing me on such short notice" And now the talks would begin.

The Ladies Bathroom!
POP!
It was not a real loud pop. Defiantly it was not enough noise to hear out of the bathroom. What it felt like through the Force? It sounded thousand tiny little buttery fly wings all beating at once! The sugary sweet smell of honeysuckle! The warmth of a cool summer’s breeze!

What was that Popping Sound!?!
It looked as if purple pedals were thrown into the air like confetti. There standing in the middle of it was Theo! Yes Theo he finally showed up! Poor Theo this time, The Living Force did not even wait for him to throw some clothes on. He was standing there in just a towel and with wet hair! Good thing this is Zeltros, there is no laws saying you can’t walk around in a towel.

Theo could now hear the Living Force’s irritation. The darn curse of the Kashi, Theo started to feel enraged also. That could mean something funky could be happening very soon. What was the Living Force mad at now? Birth control, that’s right!

Theo looked around…

Over by the sinks and the counter tops. One woman was sitting on the counter and another between the other woman’s thighs. They were doing what kids in England call snogging!?! That’s right they were kissing. Something that could be going through Theo’s mind, how about where the kark I am now?

There was something else that caught Theo’s eyes. It was on the counter next to the two women. By the way the two women must have been really high. Why because they did not notice a man teleporting into the bathroom!

What caught Theo’s eyes? Yes on there on the counter. It was not the purse. It was not all the spice that spilled out of the purse. What caught his attention was a blue case that read….
Birth Control Pills!
Frantic, Theo made his way over. “WHAT THE KARK”, he yelled. He was doing a bit of handwaverium! Not Force Magic this time. He was just being an overly dramatic man!

Theo picked up the birth control pills. At this point of all the dramatics his towel almost slipped off. Theo, he looked at the two ladies, whom was now looking him! Yes they were a bit surprised.

“How the feth can either one of you get knocked up if you’re taking this chit”, he asked…he actually asked that. How were two women going to get each other pregnant? Yes the women started laughing. By the way, one of the chicks was a Zeltroian. The other woman was human with long dark hair.

The human chick found sort of stopped laughing to say this, “Come over so we can find out?”

Stunned, scandalized…Theo shook his head and blinked his eyes several times. “What”, he said!?!

So here is a question. Did Miss Joza Perl sense the dramtic Force entrance? Next question is, did she walk in to see what was happening?

Anyhow today was not going how Theo planned. He also could not remember something. He forgot to turn the lights off in his house!

Joza sighed. “You’re kidding me, right? We just got a new shipment in yesterday afternoon.” She had to raise her voice a little over the noise of the club despite being only a pace away. “Wait, we did?” Ted called back, looking over to another bartender who was a little ways away. The violet haired Zeltron was busy flirting with a group of off-world men, their body language insisting that she’d be getting a nice tip by the end of the night.

“Yeah. I’ll go check.” Shimmying her way around the bar, she entered into the backroom. Joza had no intention of helping supply the bar right now, she’d grab one of the boys for that—she only wanted to check that their inventory wasn’t karked with. Not immediately familiar with the layout, she started sorting through shelves, grabbing bottles and reading their label before pushing them to the side. Suddenly, she touched something slimy.

“Oh, gross. She recoiled, nearly dropping the bottle in the process. Upon closer inspection it was some sort of sugary juice used to make mixed drinks that had apparently gone bad a long time ago evidenced by the dark green mold that had grown inside the bottle, popped the cap off and coated the front. “Ugh,” Grimacing, she exited the back room of the bar and headed for the nearest ladies room which happened to house one [member="Theodosius Organa"].

Joza barely paused as she opened the door, surprised to see a wet man in a towel yelling about getting two women pregnant. She brushed passed what she assumed as an impending threesome and started washing her hands.

“That will get messy. Please use one of the stalls or head to one of the many hotels on this street.”

Oh, her janitorial staff could tell you stories.

“The what”, Theo attempted respond to the new lady’s statement. “Use one of the stalls for what”, he honestly did not have a clue what she was referring to. He was still under the effects that were out of his control!

How does the bathroom stalls correlate with why birth control pills are bad for you?”

Theo felt the anger subside. He no longer felt angry. Eyes widened has he became aware of his situation. His mind was clear now.

“Never mind”, Theo said quickly with a nervous smirk. “This is not as it looks”, He attempted to give his version of the events at hand.

“Yes, let’s use the stall”, the Zeltroian woman who was sucking face with the human woman was speaking. “You”, she pointed at Theo, Then she pointed at Joza, “and you can join us!”

What did Theo just walk into?

Scandalized, well sort of scandalized Theo scoff, “I think not. You two are clearly too high to know what is good for you!”

Theo was feeling rather silly as he looked down at the towel he was holding with his left hand. He also did not hear anyone screaming. That was odd. He was just angry and nothing weird happened? Wait, he was mad at birth control pills?

Well the two ladies who were sucking face? The last bit they must have not heard a word Theo said as they went back to sucking face some more.

His free hand rubbed his own face in frustration. Theo then looked at Joza, “Would you happen to have an extra pair of pants just laying around here, do you? Also where are we?”

Faith looked across the table at the Selkath there was no telling what they were thinking she only hoped that once she spoke that perhaps they would consider the words.

"About a year ago Alderaan resumed their sovereignty no longer under the mantle of anyone. Our protection is our own responsibility. We realized that we are not a strong planet, we are still recovering in areas from Vong forming, our population is trying to rise, our culture has suffered at the hands of others." Faith smiled making sure she kept looking from one face to the next.

"There are other planets in our region of space that are also recovering. We all want control of our own worlds, and our own trade. We wish to continue to be free." Faith wanted to select words with meaning for the Selkath words that would show them what the Coalition was about.

"The Coalition maintains that all planets are free, that if there is trouble we come to the aide of one another. Trouble doesn't have to mean military response. It can mean doctors, farmers, healers and yes in your case I know our minds are on the kolto."

There was no sense in trying to hide that fact. "My mind is on any faction that would seek to subjugate another. I." She stumbled a bit on her words, "know that your relationship with the Republic was filled with ups an downs and at the end you were uncertain who would protect you."

Faith had discussed with [member="Draco Vereen"] before leaving a few options, "Alderaan would like to give Manaan a planetary shield to help protect your citizens." There was a hushed silence from across the table.

"Planetary Shield" someone repeated Faith didn't look over. "You think that will keep everyone out?"

Faith shrugged, "Anyone with determination will find a way to do something. It at least could be a deterrent. We would provide training on how to operate it."

She didn't say I'd like to ease my conscience about what the Republic did in those last years to help those who may have been hurt by it all. That was on her conscience and it may be a hindrance to her abilities at this moment.

Manaan | Objective : Stuff and Thangs, Salacia Edition | Post : [ 2 ]
Waves lapped against the boat and they were lazily moving up and down across the deep blue sea, the boat barely moving due to their research in the area. For now Mr.Zej had stopped asking questions about women and Zeltros merely because Judah had stopped replying. He wasn't being rude, just something that wasn't currently up for discussion for this point and time. Sets of scientists were pushing various mapping drones into the ocean, prototypes from Salacia's own research time. They had already mapped a bit on other planets, Mon Cal being one. This time they were more or less on their own, the researchers stepping back from keeping an eye out and baby sitting the devices.

Submarine vessels would follow shortly behind. There were two things Judah was looking for out : a particular mineral and a space to put an underwater mining facility, possibly an above water platform of some type. Manaan was further out than their typical operations but the House of Alderaan and Coalition seemed to make business easier to conduct.

"Make sure to program the drones to relay back when they find something in their parameters, to mark it. No sense doing double work out here."

"Already two steps ahead Mr.Dashiell."

Research Kolto and the Progenitor factor
Post count: 3

The sharks was just one, then three, then six or seven. The cages was deployed as Rashae ordered the divers to get into the cages. She still needed root samples and cuttings. Not harvest but whole leaf structure. Core samples were needed to procure mineral content of the sea floor soil. What were the kolto feeding on from the roots. What was in the water that the kolto absorbed? What was it about the sharks and the Progenitor that was by legend a connection?

She had a bag full of cell samples and the scientist could make a lot happen with just cells, but full samples were desirable to get the whole picture. Rashae entered the cage as she watched the sharks swim around. None of them were aggressive yet. They seemed fairly passive as they seemed to patrol the waters around the ancient kolto beds. One beside her was filming their movements.

“Look how they weave in and around the kolto like brushing up against it. I am not a behaviorist but someone at the Academy is going to love this. Get plenty of footage. “ Rashae said to the one beside her.

He was just nodding vehemently as he kept filming. The doctor commed the others to get as much video footage as possible for the biological behaviorists at the academy. Someone had bait fish as RAshae boldly held one out with a durasteel chained mesh glove on as the Firaxan sharks swam close in and passed the morsel but then suddenly came up and snatched it from her hand. A large one passed slowly as her hand trailed along its side as it passed the cage. This was some kind of wow.

The woman kept her attention upon the datapad for a moment before setting it aside, her hands pressing against the lip of the viewscreen as she took a deep breath. A heavy sigh escaped as she stood up once more, her arms crossing beneath her breast as she kept her attention peering out into the void of hyperspace. Slowly she rapped her fingers against her arm, her attention remaining forward.

"Some have gone mad staring into hyperspace ma'am."

"I've heard the stories. Though where we are heading, a bit of madness may be a boon."

A small chuckle was held back as she looked back to her companion for the moment. The vampiress was still unsure of a great many things and it helped to have those she could trust near. The Order was barely holding on, and the preparations for Aldraig IV continued to slowly grind forward. Slowly pivoting upon her back foot, she stepped forward, moving across the bridge towards the doors.

The sound of footfalls slipping behind her told her that the Knight-Lieutenant was right behind her. With a low hiss the door slipped open, the two armored clad females stepping from the bridge. As they moved through the corridors others moved around them or stepped to the side. Amelia kept her arms crossed below her chest, her focus on something else in the moment. The Knight-Lieutenant was there more to ensure that others stayed from her path or didn't bother her with something trivial.

"Ma'am?"

The voice shook her from her deep thought as she stopped for a moment, looking around and finding herself closer to the quarters. A heavy sigh escaped her lips as she looked back to the Knight-Lieutenant, a soft smile crossing her lips.

"I am sorry Jiktar, my thoughts carried away."

"What is the plan ma'am? We're closing in on Zeltros."

"We meet with the Aishul."

"And the other thing?"

For the moment Amelia brought her hand to her own lips, pressing a finger to it before she stepped back. The door behind her slipping open as the two moved into the Knight-Commander's private quarters. The door shut behind the two, her golden hues seeming a bit more vibrant now in the darkness of the room.

"We must keep our goal here secret. For all outward appearances we are merely meeting with the Aishul and nothing else."

Objective: Convince them to join the Coalition

Faith didn't have to be someone who could feel the force to know that the Selkath were looking at her wondering what she had to offer aside from planetary shielding, and the offer of trade.

What more was there to offer she wondered?

"We are developing new medicines and medical technology." Faith did not get to say another word before one of the Council members cleared his throat, "Mam, we know that currently a member of you staff is here studying the Progenitor."

Faith nodded agreement, "Yes. She dedicated to healing others. She wants to re create the formula for the marriage of bacta and kolto." She watched their eyes, their hands there was slight movement. "I know Dr. Lovuos quite well I'm sure she would share what she finds out about it. It could lead you to creating your own formula."

Faith felt that stiffening in her back urging her to talk but not panic. "That's one of the things the Coalition does we share information, and then we trade for goods. "

Something else was nagging at her, she felt unsure. Words began to fall from her lips gushing to get what she had to say into the open.

"I came here with the Republic long ago in the end days of the Republic. I thought when I saw Manaan that it was this wonderful world, completely covered in water. I love water I don't know why I"m just drawn to it. It helps me to remember who I am." FAith stopped, she needed to remember who she was, and why she was here. "I represent a small group of planets within small amount of space. We will never be as big as the Republic ever was, but we also will not have the problems they had."

Faith smiled at them her only weapon now was her honesty, "We just want to rule ourselves, and make life for our people safe, secure and free from the fear of invasion. Alderaan has had too many masters that didn't watch out for the interests of the people. I need to help my people, a supply of kolto would help with that."

Faith felt her demeanor change admitting how she felt, and why took away the burden that she carried into the room. It was relief.

"I want to set a trade agreement between Manaan and the Coalition. And as much as I want that I'd really like to see you part of it, to be secure that your way of life will be secure today, tomorrow and in the future because we'll be here to help protect it. I." she faltered for a moment, "want to show you my home. I want to try to erase bad memories my own, and maybe yours. These aren't good reasons to join the Coalition, or to trade with us. But, give us a chance. You can always leave."

Faith probably should have brought [member="Rashae"] with her to this or [member="Laira Vereen"] but she had this deep feeling she needed to do it alone. Showing herself she could overcome her fear, her regret even and hopefully over coming the odds.

The Council was watching her as she watched them.

"We need some time to consider this, if you could wait outside while we discuss."

Faith stood up, "Of course..thank you."
