Description: The Jetfire Mechsuit was built to Evard's order for a 'striking, badass vehicle that looks like a giant robot.' Using similar technology to the ShardFighters, the Jetfire was created. It works very well against other vehicles and some small ships, and is quick and agile enough to actually avoid attacks if the pilot is skilled enough. Balance is kept by dint of several large gyroscopes within the hull of the vehicle, and propulsion is provided by the large turbine in the chest. The cockpit is in the 'head', which is heavily armored and contains a laser cannon.

Unique among tanks is the Jetfire's transformation. The legs and arms fold so that the wheels on the legs act as landing gear, and a repulsorlift engine keeps the vehicle in the air while the turbine propels it forward at speeds up to 150 km/h. The cannons in the hands are still active in this mode, but the head is retracted into the chest for the sake of aerodynamics. Folded, the whole thing is about the size of a medium dropship, and is easily carried aboard any ship with a hangar.

In combat, the Jetfire moves like an ice skater, propelling itself in different directions by rolling on one wheel while pushing with the other. It can reach a speed of about 75 km/h this way, and it usually converts to its repulsorcraft form for long distances, anyway.

Length: 10 meters
Width: 3 meters

Cargo Capacity: Basically none, except for the passenger's equipment.
Misc. Equipment:

- Heavy encryption devices

We're going to have to do substantial edits, or I'm afraid I'm going to have to deny this submission.

Looking over this submission, is this a transport or a combat suit? It says it's a tank and it flies? I'm asking legitimately because I myself am trying to grasp the concept of what I'm judging.

Additionally, the movement with gyroscopes, balancing and artificial intelligence appears it would require alot of sophisticated engineering behind it. I'm unsure a Tier One company would be able to handle this alone. Even so, a substantial development thread is required for an A.I system as it stands.

I need the following changed for sure.

  • Quadanium Alloy. Please select another metal. Your company would most likely bankrupt itself even on a Limited endeavor for such a project.
  • Remove the detectable head.
If you can mention me, and give me some more insight, that would be great.

Edited...

The suit is a tank. It's wayyyyyyy to large to be an actual 'armor suit' or such. Just couldn't think of a better name for it.

The flying bit is something I thought of so it'd be easier to transport and move outside of combat. Think of it like..... When the B-1 Battle droids fold up to fit in those giant racks. Except the tank moves by repulsorlifts and the turbine rather than the wheels and the turbine in that mode.

Is there anything else confusing you, or is it a lack of dev threads thing?

Alright, after careful consideration and extensive and I mean extensive review over the past 48 hours...I cannot approve this submission.

This submission reflects too much on transformations and technology that doesn't relate to the Star Wars universe, that isn't saying it cannot be done or that we have approved technology in a similar manner.

I'm sorry again, but I'm going to have to deny it. Please take this to the 2nd chance forum if you believe I'm wrong.

Thank you.
