Description: With a good deal of their focus towards manufacturing craft for use by the CIS, Subach-Innes had, for a period of time, been neglecting the independent starship market. Particularly, the market for an aerobatic craft, for use by government flight teams and civilians looking for a fancy new toy. As such, the Sharyd was manufactured to fill that niche. A lot was drawn from the Angel-class Interceptor and its apready impressive performance, though armor was drastically stripped down and shields were removed to allow for maximum speed and maneuverability. The "Micro-Mir" hypermatter annihilation reactor, the smallest of its type to ever be developed, shoves enormous amounts of power into the company-made engines, designed to maximize thrust at a much higher efficiency level than standard propulsion engines. Only a few hits from a single laser cannon are necessary to destroy a Sharyd, making it an exceptionally non-combat-worthy ship. For a civilian ship, it carries... well, nothing. Those "gun ports" are forward-mounted ion thrusters to help with deceleration. If ever put into a combat situation, its only weapons would be extreme speed and maneuverability, as well as maybe a kamikaze run if the pilot was stupid enough to waste such a nice fighter.
