She, Her, and Shili

Nowadays, Ru had fallen back from the limelight. She was no longer the Jedi she was when she began her career. Much of her training was hands on, as back then the Sith were numerous, with a vast empire that spoiled many lives in its wake. Now, especially with the schism with the Jedi Ranks, it was vital that those who were coming up had a way to receive the training they deserved. As it was hard, now, joining the ranks of the Jedi. They were spread too thin with sects all over. With the rise of the Academy coming into fruition, hopefully things will change for the better.

She was however with her newest apprentice, and young lady by the name of [member="Kail Myn"] she had taken a rather fascination to her, and was more than willing to take her under her wing. She held a potential she hadn't seen in a while.

They had taken Ru's Jedi Training Cruiser to Shili, the homeworld of the Togruta Master so that they may begin the training of her padawan. Such isolation was how Ru had been training her newest batch of students. It was a lesson for her just as much as a lesson for them. As an instructor it was always good to see what worked and what didn't.

Kail had never been to Shili before and was still only just getting used to Sochi Ru. The Togruta Jedi Master had taken the young Jedi under her wing; finally Kail was going to be trained. Of course she did do some informal training with a fellow apprentice that did not end too well. Training lightsaber at her hip, she was ready to learn whatever her new master wished her too...

I can do this, she thought to herself. Kail's greatest strength was her mind and she was doing fairly well in her force training at this stage but fell behind on her lightsaber forms, she wasn't much of a fighter to begin -- preferring to investigate motives rather than outright attacking. Something she was opposite on with some of the other students. Nonetheless she was interested in learning the ways of a Jedi through the mentorship given to her. Who she is now, and who she might become; questions without answers.

"Welcome to Shili Kail, the homeworld of the Togruta." she said softly, while slowly placing her hand on her apprentices shoulder.

She turned around, and motioned for her apprentice to follow her. It was on purpose that the Master hadn't worn the usual long, layered, and drapped attrie she frequented. Shili was a warm world, and the training they would do would be on a physical side.

The ramp of the ship descended and touched down on the ground. She slowly walked down, and looked upon the sky. Things were as she remembered. She hadn't any boots, and before her student could take any steps on the surface she would give her instructions as well.

"Kail, remove your boots. You won't need them from this point on..." then she turned around and begin to slowly walked towards a destination that only Ru knew. With hopes that her apprentice was right behind her. Sticking close.
