"So how long until we invade the Tingel Arm Coalition homeworld?"
Kaanni who arrived at the base of the mountain smiled at Commander Wrym the leader of her personal Clone Unit: The Empress' Own. They spent the morning debating on their approach to the crumbling faction that was once the Tingel Arm Coalition. What started as a well-funded group of rebels bent on destroying the Empire of the Lost were twice destroyed and in decisive fashion. "In due time Wrym," Kaanni said casually tossing her massive Shuriken. "We just need to clean the rest of the bastards out from Garn and Maldra IV."
Wyrm was one of the few Jango Fett Clones who developed being a hollow husk who existed to merely follow orders. It was the purpose behind the Grand Army of the Lost: To produce effective, able bodied Clone Troopers in a matter of months. Yet as the Empire grew, the clone army became more redundant with the slew of fresh-faced men and women recruits from all over the Tion Cluster ready and eager to fight. The Empire of the Lost ran a heavy risk of being bloated which put a strain on military spending. Sacrifices needed to be made. "Sacrifices that I'm not willing to do," Kanni thought. "They are my brothers in a way."
"I look forward to picking the corpse of the TAC," Wrym said clutching his DC-15S rifle close to his chest, he was careful with his rifle always cleaning it even if it was perfectly fine. Wyrm said it was a precaution though Kanni found it as a habit. Ironic considering that Wrym would stress to his men to be inventive and unpredictable in combat yet was a creature of habit.
"We're still recovering from that device," Kanni said. "But I did issue several fleets at Selun and as soon as I give the go ahead we'll begin the attack."
"Good." Wrym looked around. "You sure this is a good training ground?"
Kanni grinned. "A 15,000 foot climb up one of the largest Mountains in New Alderaan?" She said. "This a warmup! I can do this in my sleep!"
"You sure you don't need me your highness?"
Kanni shook her head. "Call me Kanni Wyrm!" She said. "And no, I got a sister to accompany me! She's created to withstand extreme temperatures similar to me."
"I don't like the Butterfly Unit," Wyrm muttered. "They're always so..... evasive."
Kannii chuckled. "You worry too much," she said. "You know I'm the first of the batch."
"And what a fine specimen you turned out to be your grace err I mean Kanni.” Wrym nodded. "I can't say the same for the rest of your sisters."
"Let me worry about that," Kanni smirked. "I have 20 times their strength and intelligence. They're no match for me."
