Shell Spider Colony Destruction

Zavzen sat aboard his ship, The Eternal Saviour, en route to Naboo following reports of Shell Spiders. He planned to team up with [member="Xardus Folidaar"] once there in acquiring Shell Spider Silk for the Seven Swords to use. He was wearing his usual outfit of a black tunic and trousers under a brown cloak that has elaborate shoulder guards. On his waist two sheaths were tied on his left side to a sash. The shortest of the two contained Reaper while the longer of the two contained Saviour. Tied to his right thigh was a holster, in which he kept his blaster pistol.

When HAELI appeared in front of him to tell him that they were coming to land in Theed, one kilometre from where reports said the spiders were, he stood slowly after nodding to the young AI. Turning he strode out of the cockpit towards the ramp. As he went he looked around the ship while he scratched at the scars on the left side of his face, thinking that it might be best for him to settle down back at the Ession Temple some point soon.

Exiting the ports a few minuets later he headed for the closest cantina, The Gundark's Lair, where he had agreed to meet his partner for the mission. Walking in he made for the closest, completely empty, table after ordering two basic drinks. Looking around he remembering that it was in this cantina that he started the journey into joining the Seven Swords.

Checking his watch, Xardus found that he was late. Very, very late. Wearing a brown cloak, his sword sheath was strapped diagonally across his back, he strafed across the street to where the cantina was supposed to be. A friend and colleague of his had called him to a meeting about gathering... spider silk? The idea seemed absurd, but he knew by now that anything was possible. His memories really could help him here, he was sure of it... Shaking his head, he entered the cantina and searched for Zavzen. Quickly spotting the horns, he sat next to the man, grabbing one of the drinks and immediately chugging it down. "Hello Zavzen."

"Xardus, you're late." Zavzen said his friends name with joy before dead panning the rest of the greetings. He raised the patch of skin where an eyebrow would be if he had any at how fast the human knocked back his drink. "You know why I asked you to meet me here, right?" Zavzen asked, rhetorically, before moving on.

"I need to gather some Shell Spider Silk for my outfit, I plan on improving it, and I thought I might as well ask an ally to help me get some extra so that the Seven Swords can have access to it. Usually the spiders are quite tame and it would be easy to gather the materials but the ones near here seem to be attacking people, I thought we could do a good deed while being selfish and take out the colony. What do you say, you in?" Zavzen held out his hand to Xardus, looking for a handshake to cement the job.

Xardus listened carefully to the man's words, before offering his hand and shaking that of Zavzen's. "If it involves proving myself, i'm always open. Besides, I can't resist a challenge. It just isn't in me." He showed the man a crooked smile through his ragged beard. Since he'd lost his memories, the man had really let himself go, but the smallest trace of the young and mischievous Xardus shone through. "I say let's do it."

Zavzen cracked a smile when his friend agreed to help, finishing the rest of his drink he pushed himself to his feet. "No time like the present." He snarked jokingly. Turning he walked out of the cantina after he tied his blades to his sash. Stepping out into the crowded street he leaned against the wall to wait for Xardus to join him.

A kilometre out side of Theed, Zavzen was crouched on top of a small hill that looked down at the colony of Shell Spiders. Shell Spiders looked like regular spiders apart from two differences: one, they were he size of Dwarf Banthas; two, they had a shell that looked like the top of a Reek attached to their back. The shells were blaster proof and sturdy, it was lucky that both Zavzen and Xardus could use a sword. The spiders were all over the clearing, some were partway up the surrounding trees, some were scuttling around on the ground and some were suspended off of the ground by the hammock like webs that stretched across the clearing. Not that was the only place webbing was. It covered the whole of the floor and reached from ground to truck, truck to trunk, branch to trunk and branch to branch. In short it was nearly every where.

Zavzen turned to his parter and asked, with an emotionless expression, "Any plans, Xardus?"
