Son of Triam
So recently, with my current project most don't know about, I've been suggested to look into shell spider silk. Well I did, and I came upon some conflicting data. Or at least, a little bit.
The vast majority of submissions which use standard shell spider silk are often unique or limited, and seem to be put into a more expense light.
However, mass produced submission do exist which contain shell spider silk. For example, ATC's Spidersilk Elastex using the silk as a main component and is mass produced, but puts in a note at the bottom of its description that its use in "bodyglove form" is restricted to custom orders, or limited production. Those are two rather conflicting ideas, but I pass it by. Then, I find a Photoreactive variant which is also mass produced but contains no such warning.
Thank you for your time!

- Is Shell spider silk expensive? (limiting production)
- Is Shell spider silk abundant? (increasing production potential)
- Can something with these two factors in mind, become mass produced, as with say, a clothing line?
