Sheltraks On The Beach [Leori]

(Sorry for being so late in making this!)

Naboo's beaches were famed for being hot but cool at the same time. It was a pleasant area, and its water side was free of underwater creatures, anything that could eat you, and most importantly - Gungans. Josh himself hadn't had a chance to visit it lately... Which was funny, when you think about it. He LIVED here. Well, in particular he lived in the middle of nowhere on Naboo, but he wasn't home much with how busy he'd been. Now, he finally had a bit of home time, and he was determined to allow himself to relax on the beach, maybe have a swim, and get some serious R&R before his next mission.

The Jedi Master wore a simple blue t-shirt, and shorts, barefoot as he walked across the sand, feeling it on his toes was... Well, relaxing, in it's own way he supposed. He was looking for a good place to plant the equipment he had under his arm.

Leori looked a little different than the last time that Joshua saw her, at that very place in fact. Okay, maybe a lot different. At least shape wise. Never the less, the Jedi was stretched out on the sand on her back. Her eyes were closed and she wore fashionable sunglasses. The Jedi was a lot healthier looking too, probably because she was eating more than once a day for a change. Her vigorous training regiment had relaxed a great deal as well. She was truly vacationing. Mostly from her own expectations, but by others' standards as well. Still, she hadn't heard any complaints. Leori was just enjoying the sun like everyone else on the beach.

Joshua himself didn't look that much different in terms of his body. He looked like a warrior, with a little more besides that from his training regiments. That was all that needed to be said. In face, he had what reflected his experience, yet still kept that grim reminder that he was still a youth despite it. Though he noted a familiar sight as he was walking, someone relaxing there. Even with her sunglasses, he could recognize that face anywhere. Though it was a rough recognition, as he noted how... Well, different she'd looked. To put it mildly. Oh Force, not another Harkness.

"Well, if it isn't Mrs Harkness" The Jedi would remark as he stopped in front of her, looking down at her with a playful smirk. It had been quite some time, after all.

Leori sat up onto her elbows and tipped her sunglasses at the blonde Jedi. "Well, if it isn't the former Grand Master." She smirked. "And hadn't you heard? He took my last name."

Awkwardly she rolled to her side. The movement however immediately removed pressure and she could smile genuinely. She patted the ground in front of her. "Take a load off so that I don't have to get up."

The Jedi curled her knees toward her belly and adjusted her elbow and arm to be able to maintain posture. "How are you doing, Joshua?"

The Jedi Master smirked faintly. "I don't really use that title anymore, as catchy as Former Grandmaster DragonsFlame is" He would tease with a chuckle. "Haven't been a part of the Order in a long time, Leori. It's a thing of the past now. I'm just a Jedi Master" He would add. "And, oh really now? Well, I guess now we know who really does wear the pants in the family" He would joke, a cheeky grin crossing the Jedi's lips as he would move to sit where she had indicated.

"Will do" He said as he got himself settled. He looked over at her with a warm smile, though he still noted the stomach... He had mixed emotions on how to feel about that, if that was what he thought it was...

"I'm well, thank you. And how are you, Master Sheltrak?" He would inquire curiously.

Leori chuckled. "Well, last I checked you were not blind, and you have your Force sense still. I'm pregnant. You knew that already, and are already unsure of how to react."

His conflict of emotion was evident both through the Force and visually on his face.

"Why are you conflicted, Joshua?"

She saw right through him. It was just like her, of course... He knew her to be a sharp one. She always had been. He still wondered why a sharp one like her had stuck around with Harkness though... But he had to wonder. Was it the fact he'd thought her smarter, or perhaps the fact that he felt that she deserved better? Or perhaps did his one-time finding her attractive have deeper roots? He was aiming more toward the middle, perhaps a mix of the first and second options.

He smiled faintly. "My conflict? I suppose part of me is happy for you. Starting a family... It was always a dream of mine. I'm happy for you, and perhaps even a little envious" He would add. "Another part of me says... Oh no, not another Harkness running around" He would suddenly add with a big goofy grin crossing his face, a joking tone in his voice on that one.
