Olympian Armorsmiths Ltd. saw the need for a need fabric mesh which would provide resistance to both energy based attacks as well as lightsaber based ones. By combining three parts of armorweave, one part cortosis and one part songsteel into a layered mesh, the goal was achieved.
The process though proved to be challenging, especially to create the threads from the two metals. The energy and heat needed as well as the mass of the two metals, required a higher production output and therefore significantly higher costs than anticipated.
