the city had been created by his "psychic power," and everything in the dimension it existed was not material, but rather composed of "psychic energy."

SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Miniaturized Hypergates: Designed as a mixture of proof of concept and to see if she could do it. The shielding unit is a series of omnidirectional hypergate generators able to warp around the ship or vehicle or armor it is mounted on.
STRENGTHS
  • Exotic Matter: The ethereal nature of the metal makes it near weightless despite being and looking dense within the pocket dimension of dream. In realspace it can be grasped and there is a steady supply able to be used by Krass. When smelted with other materials it can decrease the weight of the material created by 50 percent. The exotic structure with the solidified force energy being able to skirt gravity as it has mass but does not become weighed down as long as there is force energy within it. When smelted and added to materials that are largely heavy it can reduce the weight depending on how much is use (ie: a few grams compared to ingots.. a couple grams might take off some pounds while an ingot will reduce the weight but also the quality of the metal since it doesn't augment the resistances.
  • Physics Meet Metal bat: Being from the dream pocket dimension the metal has unique properties generated and made by Krass. in this case it is psychoreactive and able to be bonded to a single person. That person can then bring it to them like they were holding a massive magnet with the range being hard to determine as they have to be able to sense and feel it.
  • Wormhole effect: The omnidirectional design allows the hypergate to in theory take a directional attack and send it to the connecting gates. THis case being the other side of the vessel making it look like blasts are passing through the ship when in actuality they are being sent through hyperspace.
WEAKNESSES
  • Protective Qualities: Largely non protective in qualities as it doesn't fully adhere to the rules of physics. The metal looks dense and like it would be highly protective but it isn't.
  • Exotic Particles: Largely unknown and not seen in the galaxy before. It isn't invincible nor is it really strong but it reacts violently near dark and anti-matter which can disrupt and destroy it or even cause it to rupture and disintegrate.
  • Protective: Barely registering as protective when not powered on and using the technology. The shield itself can't resist mass drivers, turbolasers or even basic lasers.. it is just its warping effects.
  • Directional: The fatal flaw of the unit is that its shielding when being used shuts down weapons and conventional shields. THe projected gate being on both sides and making a double-blind where shots fired from the ship would warp around the corresponding shield. Forward firing would send friendly weapons into their engines.
  • Friendly Units: Another major drawback and why these are not recommended for fleets is friendly damage. As one ship can warp and send shots into the depths of space... fleets would be sending shots into other ships near them.
DESCRIPTION
A highly experimental design and something that Krass wanted to try and create. The Shields of Actuation are well not really traditional shielding units... they are not like deflector shields and going to be used to protect the ship. THey are able to in some situations but they wouldn't be able to be something mounted on hundreds of war vessels more... they would best serve for high defensive purposes and areas where it is needed if you could plan it worrectly. WHich was another massive take for what Sasori wanted to do when experimenting with the largely lost technology.. they wanted to experiment and see what feats of Theoretical hyperspace physics as the study and use of hypergates is largely only done by a few and only then on scales usually involved to send ships to various areas of the galaxy as opposed to scaling them down. Like the mystical loops of magwitt but this is ten times cooler in her opinion as the shielding unit could be mounted above a city to take an orbital bombardment with the rest of the units angled so the shots would fire back up into the optimal area for said attack.. effectively turning an attack back on the attackers. Smart but it is double blind as when it is on friendlies would be unable to fire through it or risk sending it back at themselves... like a hibridium cloaking device it has its benefits and its drawbacks.
