  • Manufacturer:
  • Affiliation:
  • Market Status: Closed-Market
  • Model: Shikkari Death-Weave
  • Modularity: Limited (Once woven into an artifact or armor, its properties cannot be easily altered or re-forged)
  • Production: Semi-Unique
  • Material:
    • Shikkari Shadow-Silk: A sorcerous textile, woven from living strands of dark energy, responding to its wearer's will.
    • Terentatek Thread Infusion: Enhances resistance to Force-based attacks, particularly Light Side purges.
    • Taozin Fiber Embedding: Woven into select strands, providing passive concealment from Force-based detection.
    • Alchemized Umbraspider Silk: Grants durability equivalent to armor plating, allowing the weave to withstand energy and kinetic impacts.
    • Blood-Soaked Ritual Inks: The inscriptions upon this weave shift and writhe, responding to Dark Side influence.

  • Shadow-Woven Concealment: The fabric bends light and sound, making the wearer difficult to perceive when standing still or moving.
  • Force Resistance: Due to its Terentatek thread infusion, the material provides partial resistance to Force-based detection and attacks, particularly mental intrusions and Light Side purges.
  • Adaptive Resilience: Unlike standard armorweave, Shikkari Death-Weave alters its density and rigidity, making it flexible yet able to harden upon impact.
  • Living Sorcery: The runic inscriptions upon the fabric are not static, they shift and adapt, reacting to ambient darkness and absorbing residual Dark Side energy.
  • Taozin-Touched Properties: The Taozin Fibers embedded within its weave disrupt Force-tracking abilities, making it difficult to locate the wearer through the Force.
  • Willbound Attunement: The weave can subtly react to its wearer's intent, shifting to tighten, stretch, or even morph based on combat needs.

  • The Unseen Shroud: This material allows limited stealth capability, obscuring Force detection, light refraction, and sonic signatures under the right conditions. Those wearing it can seem to vanish into darkness, making them ideal for assassins, Sith infiltrators, and sorcerers who operate in the shadows.
  • Flexible Yet Durable: The Alchemized Umbraspider silk grants immense durability, allowing it to withstand blaster fire, kinetic strikes, and even limited lightsaber contact. Unlike heavy armor, this weave remains lightweight and flexible, enabling fluid movement without sacrificing protection.
  • Force-Warding & Concealment: The Taozin fibers within its structure disrupt Force tracking, making it difficult for Jedi, Sith, or other Force-sensitives to trace or sense its presence. The Terentatek-thread infusion provides partial protection against direct Force-based assaults, including telekinetic strikes and mind tricks.
  • Shifting Sorcery: The runes inscribed into the weave shift dynamically, adapting to ambient Dark Side influence, growing stronger when surrounded by suffering, fear, or death. Sith who wear it feel their sorcery amplified, their rituals empowered by the fabric's inherent absorption of Dark Side energy.

  • Light Side Purging Weakness: While resistant to passive Light Side attacks, a concentrated blast of Force Light can severely weaken the fabric's enchantments, causing its alchemical properties to deteriorate or be temporarily nullified.
  • Not Full Stealth: Though capable of bending light and sound, it does not make the wearer completely invisible, energy emissions, or mechanical sensors can still detect them.
  • Corrupted Nature: The material is tied to the Dark Side; if a Jedi or Light Side practitioner attempts to wear it, they may experience visions of suffering, torment, or mental instability, as the weave rejects those not attuned to the darkness.
  • Requires Presence in the Dark: In environments saturated with the Light Side, the weave's effects become muted, and its inscriptions may fade temporarily.
  • Limited Protection Against Pure Kinetics: While able to harden upon impact, this weave is not a substitute for full-body armor, direct, sustained physical attacks can still overwhelm its defenses.
  • Force Suppression: Shikkari Death-Weave is entirely dependent on the Dark Side for its supernatural properties. When exposed to Force-null zones (Ysalamiri fields, Void Stones, or similar suppression effects), its enchantments are nullified, causing the runes to fade and the fabric to lose its enhanced concealment, resilience, and sorcerous amplification. While it remains physically intact and durable, its Force-based abilities, including stealth enhancements, ritual amplification, and Taozin-inspired Force concealment—are rendered inert until removed from suppression.

"The threads of death do not simply protect, they breathe, they hunger, they exist between the folds of shadow and madness."

A relic of ancient Shikkari shadow-craft, Shikkari Death-Weave is no mere fabric, it is woven sorcery, a textile infused with Sith alchemy and the malevolent essence of the Dark Side itself. Created by the Shadow Hand Darth Prazutis and forged within the hidden sanctums of the Shikkari Shadow-Priests, this weave is designed not for warriors, but for those who hunt in the dark. It does not shine, nor does it glimmer; it is a blackened void, a whisper of power barely seen against the abyss.

Its origins are whispered only in hushed tones. The process to craft such a material is a ritualistic ordeal, requiring the sacrificial invocation of Sith spirits, the infusion of Terentatek strands, and the intricate alchemical binding of Taozin into its fibers. The result is a material that is not simply worn, it binds to the soul of its wielder, reacting to their presence, shifting like a second skin.

The wearer of Shikkari Death-Weave becomes a shadow incarnate, difficult to perceive and nearly impossible to track through the Force. Its sorcerous properties enhance rituals, allowing Sith Lords to weave dark magic more efficiently, while its adaptive resilience ensures protection beyond what simple cloth should provide. Yet, this power comes with a price. Those who are not of the darkness find the weave repellent, its energy unsettling, maddening, whispering of forgotten souls and untold horrors.

The Light Side is its bane, capable of temporarily purging its enchantments when exposed to highly concentrated Force Light. And while it provides near-perfect silence in motion, it is not absolute stealth, thermal sensors, rapid movement, and energy discharges can still reveal its user's location. Shikkari Death-Weave is not a tool for the weak. It is a living vestment, a whispering nightmare, a shroud that does not simply protect, but devours, drinking deeply of the darkness and shrouding its wearer in the black embrace of the abyss.

Another amazing sub. Here too, Very cool! I'd like to ask you to add to the weaknesses what happens with the silk under Force suppression/nullification effects.
And you forgot to add the Special Feature header picture to the template. I thought you might want to edit this one too.
