So I found someone willing to build us a custom starship to both live aboard and get us anywhere we wish to go in the galaxy.....Now we just need a name for such an awesome ship

The Caretaker.

This just came to mind as a name that fittingly describes something or someone that takes care of another, whether living or otherwise.

The Courier.

A vessel that ships items and others about the known galaxy, focusing on the crew of the vessel with this one though it could also be used as a smuggling title.

The Iron Giant.

Obviously not made of Iron though what difference does it make to children.
