I have a clarification question.

Is there a requirement to have a specific manufacturer for a major faction ship in relationship to its size?

Or is it all right to simple state that it's built by various subcontractors for the faction like in this submission?

Tier II and below can only produce so much.

If you're saying the government is the manufacturer, it'd be best to clarify what companies are contracting to produce that product, if possible. Otherwise, it looks fine to me.

The Manufacturer must be a company of a specific Tier if I remember correctly, I'll go hunt down the facts/specifics.

Company Rules

1. Mass producing any starship will require substantial proof of income by way of development thread, higher tier company, or Minor/Major Faction involvement.
2. To produce a ship over 1,000 meters in length, a company must be Tier 3 or higher.
3. Companies may own and operate a realistic amount of non-combat starships where maximum length per ship = ( Tier Number x 1000 ) / 2
4. Companies may own and operate a realistic amount of combat starships where maximum length per ship = ( Tier Number x 1000 ) / 3 and maximum fleet length = ((Tier Number x 1000) x (Tier Number)) / 2


Make sure at least one of the companies that manufacture it is T3 or higher and there should be no issues.

I think that's specifically for a Corporation. I believe what [member="Gir Quee"] is asking is if a Corporation needs to be indicated as the manufacturer for a ship associated with a major faction. For example, does someone submitting a ship for Republic use need to throw a Republic-affiliated corporation as the manufacturer. While I would defer to a factory judge, I do not believe that's a requirement right now.

All ships require a manufacturer, whether they are personal or faction affiliated...

Without one, they cannot be made o.o

Therefore, a T3 company is still required, whether it's player made or canon.

At any time a faction may be used as a manufacturer with permission from the faction in question. (The entire team of faction staff).
