Essentially this is a simple solution to a complex problem increasing relay performance of a ships computer system. Taking cues from a tentacled sea creature that uses neural clusters to control its tentacles autonomously. An engineer decided to add Droid brain to act as a semi nerve cluster on a ships section making that part of the ship a semi droid under that clusters control.

Strengths:
- Vastly improves performance computer wise increasing it's redundancy in some factors. allowing for more console control of the whole ship can be used with or by an AI ( not included.)
- Very difficult to be sliced.
Weaknesses:
- if an AI goes rogue it will have full access to all factors of the ship. whille difficult to be sliced it is not impossible.
- very costly due to the Vonium.
- AI is not included adding to the cost.
