Showing Respect To Your Fellow Members

For the most part, we have a very gracious, very open, very respectful community here at SWRP. A lot of you have proven to be the most welcoming, most opening crowd I've ever had the pleasure of being a member of. It truly is fantastic, and I can't thank you all enough for giving me the opportunities that we've had to enjoy. Sure, we've hit some rough patches, but it's the feeling of unity and being a part of something that's become very large that continues to drive this website.

Like we're all on the same team.

On the flip side, I'm pretty realistic. I don't expect us all to get along. I don't expect you to like everyone you meet here.

But show respect.

Show courtesy.

Act like you have manners.

If someone is insulting you on this forum, if someone is harassing you on this forum, if someone is rustling your jimmies on this forum - do not retaliate publicly. Do not retaliate in a Faction. Do not retaliate anywhere on this board - this includes the Shoutbox.

Keep your head high and report them to the SWRP Staff Team. If you are completely innocent of any wrongdoing, all of us will go to bat for you, and we can swing pretty hard. You'll get your peace of mind, your "internet justice". But stay out of the way on this forum. All you need to do is report them.

Don't try to be an Internet Warrior. Don't try to win arguments on a Star Wars forum. It's not worth your time, and everyone knows there's never a winner in a fight on the internet.

With that said, I expect 9/10 we won't have to deal with this problem, but just know we're here if you need us. Keep up the good work, everyone, and try and remember to have fun.

Disney's Princess
Nah. I'm just being IC. So I can mouth off and say whatever. Everybody knows it's just my character talking. So I can't get in trouble. No matter what forum I post in.

Did somebody say "Internet Warrior?"

Not a staff member, but an additional word of advice. If you see two people duking it out in an inflammatory manner, don't jump in the dogpile. Even if it's your friend. The more people get involved, the harder it becomes to resolve. Okay, I'm done being serious now. Go post megaman pics. Better yet, post a pic of Vile, the Mando robot master.
