- Repulsor Wings: The Shriek-Hawk Basilisk is equipt with a unique repulsor system based in the droid's wings. While this does make the repulsors more delicate, this give the droid surprising agility in the air thanks to having greater control of the repulsor direction.
- Acoustic "Shrieker": An acoustic weapon capable of temporarily deafening opponents exposed to it, and Shrieker creates a loud call similar to the Shriek Hawk's own call.
- Agile in the air.
- Surprising amount of weapons.
- Small and light.
- Energy and ion protection.
- Delicate wings.
- Weapons aren't the most powerful.
- Vibroblade talons ineffective against armor.
- Weak to kinetic weapons.
The Jai'galaar Bes'uliik, or Shriek-Hawk Basilisk, is a small but advanced war droid designed to be used by Mandalorian forces as an airborne scout and light air support. Armed with dual blasters, vibroblade talons, and the "Shrieker" acoustic weapon, the small droid pack a surprisingly powerful punch. The droid's wings allow the droid to be extremely maneuverable, and it's ray shield protects it from energy, lightsaber, and ionic weapons. The droid is somewhat weak by comparison to other war droids, having delicate wings, and with its talons not being that strong against armor. It also has little kinetic protection. The droid was given the title of a Basilisk for unknown reasons, though it may be that its coding is semi-sentient in design, as opposed to the usual sentient-type code of ther CST droids, making it more reflective of an intelligent animal species.
