STRENGTHS

• Death from Above: The Shyrack brings to bear a decent loadout to earn its role as a gunship, allowing to it to effectively operate as aerial support and fend off enemy air support with several options for engagement. Repulorlift arrays alongside its engines give it a greater degree of control and movement when closer to a planet's surface in order to aid in this particular duty as well.

WEAKNESSES

• It Came from Behind: Due primarily to weight distribution and passenger consideration, for a smaller craft the Shyrack isn't the most agile of vessels. While still nimble enough to dodge fire from the ground, when it comes to dueling against other starfighters it is often easily flanked and outmaneuvered. The blaster cannons can fire backwards to somewhat mitigate this issue but even those are fairly easy for most starfighters to avoid even in combat.

DESCRIPTION
Ship design for Sanguine Defense Works is, unofficially of course, nothing new for their engineers after their work in other Wonosan projects over the years. The company itself making a ship for production and sale is relatively new however. The Shyrack gunship, named for a creature native to Korriban, was actually the result of two converging projects both trying to tackle the same issue from different angles.

Previously the main troop transport for Wonosan forces had been the Vezioti Shuttle, a somewhat impressive ship that was mostly centered on transportation with little in the way of ground support as it instead focused more on anti-starfighter capabilities. Of course this gap in their equipment would become all the more apparent as time went on but the Vezioti fulfilled their needs enough that developments on an alternative transport were gradual and without much attention. However as the Wonosan war on crime waged on they would find themselves with smaller craft that the criminals often used as gunships or transports themselves and would often times struggle with how to best utilize them without just scrapping them for parts and materials.

With the onset of SDW's operations these two concerns would finally be addressed and merged into one proper development project meant to not only provide the company with a ship to sell for extra income and to make use of for their defense contracts but also as a means of shipping their products and personnel around the galaxy as well. The Shyrack gunship was made with two primary goals in mind, firepower and transportation. Not unlike the aforementioned shuttle, the Shyrack features specific passenger and cargo protection in the form of its blast shields that offer additional protection against blaster fire and shrapnel alike even without the shield active. It can carry up to twelve passengers comfortably or a respectable amount of cargo with no issue.

The weaponry of the Shyrack's standard variant is simple yet varied enough to be effective in most situations but of course these weapons can be reconfigured and swapped around somewhat, in particular the ventral blaster cannons are mounted in such a way that they are easily swapped out for other weaponry or turrets and the missile launcher can sport various types of missiles as well. The repulsorlfit arrays work independently of the engines so even if the engines are disabled or damaged then, so long as they are capable of working of course, the arrays will keep the gunship flying.

The hyperdrive is uncommon for smaller ships of Wonosan origin but it was deemed a necessity given the Shyrack's additional role as a hauler for SDW deliveries, making this ship even more versatile as it can fit the role of transport for strike teams on covert missions or larger forces and battles without any real modifications or even alternative vessels needed. It isn't the most ideal for battling against other starfighters due to its slight lack of maneuverability compared to other such small craft but what it might lack in that angle it more than makes up for in its firepower and adept fitting of its role.
