Description:
SI-HD Armor is probably one of the most unique pieces of technology currently in the Galaxy.
SI-HD, or simply called “Sid” by Kiran, is a unique armor that was created through the melding of several different technologies. When Kiran began the operations of Saeva Incorporated he advertised that part of their function was under cover operations. Of course this was meant to be stealth missions, assassinations, and surgical strikes against targets, however, as business began to boom customers looked for other kinds of operations.
To facilitate this, Sid was created.
Sid as an armor is a very complex design. The armor itself is made of three base layers. The first layer of the armor is a Asheran Armorweave bodysuit. This, surprisingly is where most of the armors defensive power comes from. Asheran armorweave is incredibly advanced and is capable of stopping most blasters, slugthrowers, and even lightsabers for a short time.
On top of the Asheran armorweave is a thin layer of Vanir Technologies Kinetic Impact Gel, The gel allows the suit to survive colder, as well as extreme hot temperatures and survive heavy amounts of kinetic damage.. This along with its air supply and its rocket boots allow the Armor to function perfectly in space. The armor also has strength enhancing capabilities, giving the wearer enhanced strength by a factor of five.
The last lair of the Asheran Armorweave is Carbo-plas, a specifically designed and fabricated to be lightweight. Usually used on starships, carbo-plas was used in Sid Armor because of its lightweight and unique properties. The point of this is because of the SI-HD's most prominent feature, its Holographic Disguise Matrix.
This incredibly complex and time tested piece of technology has one simple function, to disguise the wearer of the armor to appear as another armored being. The Holographic Disguise Matrix within the SI-HD is completely built into the armor, unlike other devices. This means there is no external carry port, and means that the armor itself can change much faster than if one were using a regular Holographic Disguise Matrix. The SI-HD has a built in scanner, capable of scanning any armor and reproducing the appearance of the scanned armor perfectly. The Holographic Disguise Matrix then projects this image around the SI-HD allowing the wearer to fully interact and move with the world around him with no worry of discovery.
The function of the SI-HD was completely built in, added before any and all other features. The disguise fools even the most advanced sensors and visually it is absolutely perfect. Of course the disguise can be broken, either through hard physical impact or through a burst of an EMP, causing the Holographic Disguise Matrix to fail.
Switching between armor appearances takes typically anywhere from three to five seconds. This time can be lengthened if the wearer of the SI-HD is in motion, sometimes taking as long as thirty seconds before the disguise is fully put in place.
When the Holographic Disguise Matrix is not in use, the SI-HD is a more than suitable armor for any combat. The armor is designed to take a beating, its futuristic helmet allows for a three hundred and sixty degree view, and its several smaller attachments allow for any warrior using this armor to more than hold their own in any fight.
Of course, because of the nature of the technology involved, and because of the difficulty in its production, the SI-HD is incredibly expensive to produce. As such there are few copies of the armor.
