- Click of a Button: Designed to interface with most GA vehicle consoles, the Frosties are built to be easy to install on any form of vehicle, and allow ease of use.
- Cold as Ice: Firing off a cloud of cryoban smoke, the Frosties were designed as a way for vehicles to make a quick escape from traditional thermal and optical sensors. The smoke produced can be fitted to obscure parts of, if not the entire vehicle, and allow the vehicles to escape from a situation, while acting as a shield for nearby troops to hide in. While it doesn't disrupt the sensors in any way, it does allow for a simple getaway.
- One Time Use: Each canister is designed to fire off only once, and while they can be reloaded out of combat, they are specifically designed as single use items.
After a virtual war game on Christophis,
Gress D'ran
commissioned a set smoke launchers for his set of GADF tanks. While the design process was simple, the implementation of such a design was complex. Designing a smoke launcher that would allow vehicles to escape obscured from sensors, the Frosties were the result. Launching a mixture of cryoban, dry ice, and thick smoke, the Frosties allow for quick escapes by massive vehicles.
