Security Initiative Droid - 10 Sierra
A security series KX Droid that was originally owned by the Kainate and by extension served the Sith Empire.
Due to a hasty retreat, the droid was lost in transit to the rendezvous point and found its way into the black market trade. From there it was transfered between hands though never enabled with the fear of latent programming initiating regardless of memory wipes attempts.
The Droid was eventually bought and serviced by an organization called The New Way, intending to use the droid at its full potential as a security unit. Some complications arose however with the Droid's programming dictating it to apply itself in a manner the group deemed questionable for an automated unit.
Attempting to limit the units independence, the resulting modifications hampers the droids functionality.

Security Detail: Built around the idea of maintaining military security, it has a healthy variety of security related software/hardware.
Enhanced Sensors: The need for surveillance in these types of droids warrants the use of heavy sensor related hardware.
Strength and Speed: Even the base models of the KX series are a formidable opponent to the unprepared. This variant especially so with upgraded systems to act as a vanguard to the unit it was formerly attached to.

Incompetent Meatbags: While it does not hate them, they are a right bother. The lack of an organic harm inhibitor allows it too much flexibility some would say.
To A Fault: It has set programming, of which at this time it cannot deviate from. Troublesome at best, problematic at worst. The only being capable of altering its programming is the designated owner as any protocols it comes with will be executed to the best of its abilities.
