Special Features:
- Lightsaber & Blaster Resistance - The main purpose behind the inclusion of Sith alchemy for these lightsabers was to prevent their destruction at the hand of another force user's lightsaber. A direct strike from, and even sustained contact with, a lightsaber will not do much more than increase the heat and cause discoloration of the hilt. Blasters will also prove ineffectual on the hilt of these sabers, which will simply reflect blaster bolts like a mirror - just as a Sith sword might.
- Bifurcating Cyclical Ignition Pulse - These two lightsabers are waterproof, they will not turn off when submerged fully in water.
- Waterproof - These lightsabers are not hampered by the traditional weakness of lightsabers, which could be shorted out with something so simple as submerging the blade or entire saber in water.
- Lightsaber & Blaster Resistance - Alchemy has rendered these lightsaber hilts capable of fully reflecting blaster bolts and able to resist damage from sustained lightsaber strikes for an indefinite period of time.
- A lightsaber cannot completely reflect a slugthrower round and can only partially deflect one, putting the wielder at steep disadvantages when facing someone using a slugthrower that fires multiple rounds at an accelerated rate.
Silara Kuhn, known by her alias as Darth Vitium, constructed both of these lightsabers following her resurrection on Ziost. Due to being without many resources, aside from the basic components required to create the two in the first place, Silara was unable to secure natural lightsaber crystals and instead was forced to use synthetic crystals. The hilts were created with the application of Sith alchemy in order to make them resistant to lightsabers and deflect blasters. Although the Sith Lord does not expect to have either come in contact with her lightsaber hilts the idea was to be preventative rather than potentially lose very useful tools in the middle of a duel or conflict. A bifurcating cyclical ignition pulse was also included to make the sabers waterproof, eliminating the most common issue with lightsabers to-date.
