Silver Jedi Restructure

Hello everyone,

Over the next few days the Council will be looking the structure of the SJ, leadership and groups. It will not be a major restructure but more focused on groupings.

Master [member="Thurion Heavenshield"] quickly came up with this suggestion off the top of his head. Which I kinda like the idea of.

Maybe simplify the different groups, i.e. Diplomats, Instructors, etc?

Maybe just have them be Silver Guardians (Guardians + Instructors), Silver Consulars (Diplomats + Philosophers) and Silver Sages (Healers + Seers)? Along with the Silver Shadows, of course.


However I am looking for more suggestions and ideas ..

This is not restricted to Council members, as I like to have SJ faction run .. rather then by a few.

I'll have a think, but the Bearded One seems to have summed up all areas that need to be covered.

Do we have any....yes we do. The Shadows.

I was going to say do we have any like...undercover "secret agent", behind enemy lines teams like MI6, the CIA or something.....but yeah, the Shadows is that.

It could do with a kick in the pants as I don't see much of the SS and they could be a real interesting and mighty team to help the SJ branch out and show their might.

Well the Silver shadows are the closest to Sentinels but while most Shadows are sentinel types not all sentinels are shadows. There should be something in the same group but a different choice. We have plenty of SS groups

I guess the big question is how often do the various groups get used? Or are they more along the lines of keeping track of who is focusing on a specialty?

I agree and we need to make some nice ranks. Running around as a Silver Guardian reminds me of time force and that would be awesome.

Maybe we have TOO many splinter groups and need to consolidate them into 3 or 4 perhaps so people easily know what each encompasses and what it serves?

For example 4 main areas:

Intelligence, Research, Diplomacy and Operations


TBH I think Thurion summed up the rainbow titles for them.

Or maybe I'm thinking too hard!

But seriously yes if we consolidate them into groups with purposes it could be a great thing.

Interesting Thurion I came up with the same group list. Save for the Sages which I called Healers instead. So that gets my vote. Also remember if someone comes in or wants to specialise in a unique area that is just fine, and if more are interested in that unique group, it only takes a click of a button to create a new group.

I was thinking as well, in order to give people the opportunity to lead, we should open the leadership of the groups up to Knights as well. Rather then have the members of the Council as the leaders, they could be there if no one stands up to take the group leadership.

We could have a member of the Council as the person said leaders of the groups to report to?

Seriously though, if it comes to it I'd rather be leader of the Guardians than a member of the council.

First Silver Jedi Council - which I now want to add NFU as they are a part of the SJ and need to have voice on the Council.​

Leadership Council - members of which can come from any rank and/or Jedi Council, they are the leaders of the groups.​

Therefore, if a First Council member wishes to lead a group, they can.

Then if the memberbase wants me, I'd be happy to lead the Guardians while retaining my seat on the Council.

Also, if the spot for Ranger One is vacant, I'd like to nominate [member="Vladimir Kirov"] for the position. Unless, of course, you wish to keep it an NPC. ^_^

Diplomats and Healers I can see go hand and hand in some ways. They are are Diplomats as I know not all characters are going to be a like but I can see some healers being those Diplomats just for the fact of there Art of Healing as I feel that can be a lot of things just not the physical part that everyone seem to see there a lot other kind of healer, metal, and others plains such as nature and other between people.
