Aithne Charr
Heir of Fire
Hello All, and Boy do i have something for you.
So the last time we did a thing against another faction was during one of our current dominions in which we only have one of them still around. Which is a-ok. People have lives and not everyone wanted to take up such a thing. Props to those Sith Assassins though that did stick around.
But that is not why this is being posted. This is being posted because i have something new for you guys and im sure that with the cooperation between two great factions the IR and the Vitae can have some great fun.
And thus, here is the idea. In going with establishing connections with other factions (and a dev thread for our carrier) the Imperial Remnants and the Vitae Alliance are going to be doing a Simulation Skirmish. What is this you might ask, well its simply that, a simulated skirmish. Here are the catches though.
A, The Skirmish from the viewpoint of the characters will feel real even if they are told it is a simulation before hand through the use of advance neural sensor that will mimic the feel of the entire environment to an almost perfect feel.
B, This skirmish will to the characters also be treated as a real situation, it is meant as an advanced training exercise that would allow for those involved to learn from mistakes that would cost them their lives or the lives of their men. Not everyone in the simulations will be hooked up to neural interfaces, only our characters will by random draw. How lucky are we.
C, This in no way means the Vitae and the IR are enemies, infact i hope through this that relations can improve by helping eachother improve and learn. If it doesn't though then well, it would be a fun thread.
Now onto the objectives over the entire skirmish. It will be primarily naval, im sure there can be a land version set up another time when the time comes. But this one will be primarily naval which means that pilots and fleeters will probably have more fun with it. NOW this does not mean you are not allowed to join if you dont do either normally. Infact hell this is the perfect time to get your character practice controlling a ship or even just a fighter. I encourage everyone to join this, expand on your faults, see what you can and cant do.
As always please ask questions, as of this moment there is no set date but the IR seems excited so i would assume by the end of the weekend we will be shooting at eachother.
