Sins of a Solar Empire

Anybody else here enjoy sins of a solar Empire. I;ve been playing the Sins of the prophet mod and looking into the star trek armada mods.

But I haven't bought the Rebellion game. Too small of an improvement for me to invest the money.

I got rebellion much later but I like it overall. For me in the end it's a fun game and worth the money.

Got Rebellion on a sale, but it still wasn't worth it. Entrenchment was still my favorite and most useful expansion.

That said, I haven't played for almost a year now.

I only just picked it up again lately cause my pc now can max up the graphics without even breaking a sweat. And I sometimes crave space combat fun.

I think I had that a long time ago. Never really got into it.

If EaW's strategic layer were turn based it'd be great. As is it always ends up being a race move fleets around that's more frustrating than fun. The above mods are great and add a lot of content, though.
