Location: Shadow Laboratory on Taspir III

Rellik was within the third floor of the Shadow laboratory when it began. Sirens wailing, the sound of blasters firing and the screams of highly qualified personnel. What had started as a normal day with the Diarch working on some of his potions has turned into the first assault upon their secret facility. The third floor of the building is where the recreational area was set. Rellik had been taking a break, feet kicked up on the lounge and drinking some coffee. Now, his passion project and security of one of his most discrete facilities was in peril.

Word was coming in that the intruder was already making way into the first floor hangar. Being underground whoever entered was determined, strong and ready for a fight. Rellik was unsure what they were here for but the biology lab would be the easiest thing for them to access with it being on the same floor as the hangers so Rellik gathered himself quickly and made his way there.

The building in shutdown mode was pitch black except for the red hue of the emergency lighting and the occasional flash of bright red from the security system. Majority of security was handled by automated turrets but there was some high end workers there. The concern for their safety was rising as their wails could be heard even while Rellik was on the other floors.

He had to take the stairway since the elevators when in shut down mode. Moving through the concrete structure in the darkness the Diarch had but one thought. "Who and why?"

Falentra had gotten out of this place by the skin of her teeth, but now she was back with only one thing on her mind. Vengeance. Lyssara Thrynn, her captor, her tormentor, was going to burn along with this wreched place to the ground. For a skilled inquisitor, she had not entered quietly, instead shed bursting through the main hangar doors immediately triggering the alarm system. Yet, before any of the personel had a moment to raise their weapons, she had warped the force around them with a swirl of her hand, commanding it to her will, she closed her fist. Not even allowing them a single cry, she had crushed their skulls in. After a unison squelching and shattering of bones, the bodies of the armed men flopped to the ground.

The sithspawn continued down the hallway, legs hovering as her long tentacles carried her, slithering in fluid motions. Using the device in her head, CTOii, she sliced into the facilities systems, getting into the security and survelliance. The wail of sirens stopped and the darkness enveloped as the lights went off. Despite that, Falentra could see well, her glowing cyan eyes made to see in the depths of sea. This place was familiar, even if her mind was in a constant haze through her duration of captivity. She had spent months in here tormented, only treated like a speciment to be experiemented on. Lyssara took all measure to ensure she was compliant, disconnecting her from her force, mind and power through concoctions of serums injected into her on the daily.

Through the surveillance, there were a fleet of guards marching down her way to intecept her. Even as the lights of their torches flashed through the area, they would not see her across the hallway. Until scorching fire blazed from above, burning the men below and lighting the area in ember light. Chilling screams rang out as they burned. The siren was not on the ground, but had clung on to the ceiling. Tentacles snatched men from above by their collars, the powerful limbs snapping bones. Blasters fired at the creature. Falentra moved swiftly, crawling along the ceiling, her tentacles swinging her across the walls, dodging and deflecting the blasts with the aid of the force.

Then she landed back on the ground, the tentacles lashing out at the soldiers like a whips. They crackled with electricity - lightning, stunning the men upon impact. Within seconds, she had incapacitated them all, pools of blood and singed bodies only left in her wake. The silence was eery after such cries moments before. Nothing but the sounds of her tentacles as they slithered across, making her way to the labs. "Lyssara Thrynn!" The siren's scream echoed through the hallways. There was only her rage fuelling her, there was no sympathy for the men she had killed after all the gruelling experiments she had endure in this place, it was all anyone here deserved.

As Rellik opened the door to the stairwell the alarms shut off. The red light of emergency power was also gone. Taking a moment to gauge his surroundings he stood at the precipice of the dark hallway before him. Dropping his outer robe and leaving himself in his beige tunic with nothing but his lightsaber with him, he pressed forward.

SNAPP-HISS

The golden saber of the Diarch was activated. Lifting it near his face he maneuvered through the first floor of the shadow laboratory with its low hue lighting the way. Unsure of where the intruder could be it did not take long for the screams of more personnel to fill air. Following the howls of dying men Rellik moved quickly. As suddenly as it started, the cries of pain and fear stopped.

Rounding a corner he saw the piles bodied on the floor. Scorched flesh, imploded bones and pools of blood. Whoever was here was on a war path. Following the trail of the dead he realized he was on track to be at the labs themselves. It was as he reached its doorway he heard his enemy.

"Lyssara Thrynn!"

His apprentices name was screeched at an almost piercing level. Alas, she was not the one here today. The co-head of the Diarchy was.

Walking in to the labs Rellik stood at the interior of its door. Getting into the stance of Form II Makashi - not something he used often but as a Form III Soresu user he wanted to land more deliberate strikes on his opponent while taunting them with grace. Instead of relying on defensive technique. Whoever thought they could enter one of his facilities and scare him would be demeaned in return.

"Come out and surrender. If you do I will show mercy. If not, I am happy to bite." A devilish and mischievous grin lit by the low gold glow of his saber had formed on his face as he spoke.

Within the place filled with various contraptions and chambers containing unique specimens, Falentra swiftly incapacitated the labratorists and other scientists. The more bodies she slaughtered the more it seemed that Lyssara was not here in the place. There was always another day she could pop by, more blood to be shed. But first she would burn this lab and everything in it.

Within the relative darkness, a golden hue of light shone from the exit. A single pair of footsteps was approaching the labs. Who ever it was, it was bold of them, after the trail of blood she had left in wake the countless of lives lost to her sheer power, they should be afraid. The figure stopped by the threshold of the entrance, the glow illuminating his features.

She recognised him. He was the man she had met so briefly in the trials of Ozzuk. Now he was offering mercy, when she had saved him from his grevious injuries in those games, only to be returned in kind with a lashing of pure electricity. The irony of it all.

"Mercy?" A shrill unnerving cackle of laughter reveberated through the room, almost tauntingly. "I was never given mercy by anyone in this place. But you... I know you." Her voice echoed through the darkness. "In ozzuk. My dear Dima allowed you that mercy for me to heal you. And what did we get in return?"

Then through the darkness was the answer. A blinding flash of light sparked, the raw energy of lightning bolting from her clawed hands towards the man. It lit the siren's features, raised tall standing by her tentacles, her visage twisted in rage. "Mercy is only a weakness to be taken advantage of," The force warped around a nearby pillar, and just like he had threw at Domina in the arena, she flung it right at him.
