Sister dear

[Norman Crystall]

Norman stood in his room, he rang for one of the servants to bring him a drink and he waited. A maid soon came in with a tray with a glass of some form of juice. He glared at the glass then at the maid and walked up to her. He gripped the glass then smashed it over the girl's head

"ALL I ASKED FOR IS WATER!!!! GET OUT OF MY SIGHT!!"

The girl shrieked as the glass hit her face then picked up the glass and scurried out of his room sobbing

Catrina would see the girl scurry out of the room and she would instantly know what was happening. She would walk into the room and being her upbeat self say "May I?" She would wait for a response knowing he valued his personal space very much

"NO!!" Norman snarled back

"Leave me alone!!"

He gripped his umbrella in annoyance and went back to looking out the window

She would not know how to take that and would be concerned "Is something the matter that I may help with?" She asked gently not wanting him to yell at her

"I SAID NO!!!" He snarled once more

"I DON'T LIKE BEING BOTHERED!!!! LEAVE ME ALONE!!!!"

At these words she would flinch and yelp and like a wounded animal would scamper away her head down. She would head to her bedroom which was huge and would slam the door tears falling

Norman shook his head and rolled his eyes at the yelp that was made on the opposite end of his door. As this happened one of the elderly butlers who took care of the children since they were young heard the commotion and rushed to the young girl's door. The butler opened the door slightly and said

"Are you alright dearest?....."

Her face would be buried in her mountain of pillows with tears rolling down her face. She didnt take being yelled at very well. All she wanted was to have a nice day with her little brother. She would not answer

The butler gritted his teeth and clenched his fist and softly closed the door. He walked down the long hallways and smashed Norman's door open

"GET OUT OF HERE!!!" Norman shouted as the butler stormed inside and stomped up to him. The butler then raised his hand and backhanded the boy causing the boy to collapse to the floor. Norman rubbed his hand on the red hand mark on his face and frowned. The butler then grabbed Norman by the suit collar and dragged him down the hall. The butler slammed the princess's door open and threw the boy inside. Norman landed with a slam on his face and floor.

"APOLOGIZE TO HER!!!" The butler shouted

Norman raised a finger in anger "NO!!" He hissed back. The butler then backhanded the boy even harder leaving an even brighter red mark. The boy collapsed once more, then slowly arose again now shaking in fear and rubbing his hand on the red mark ".........sorry....." He softly said keeping his head down

She would hear this and lift her head slightly and nod but still be deeply hurt and scared. She wanted to feel like she fit in and she never did especially when norman yelled at her

Norman sat on his knees his head still tilted downwards. The butler still gave an angry glare at the battered child

"Now, you are to spend time with your older sister today and do whatever she wants to do!" The butler demanded "Understood!?...."

The boy gave no answer and only continued to look downward at the floor. The butler then slammed the boy on the floor. The boy gave a small cry "*umph*"

"UNDERSTOOD!?!?" The butler shouted in anger

The boy got back on his knees and kept his head down in a depressing manner "......... yes......." He meakley said in a defeated depressed tone

Hearing this Catrina would finally lift her head all the way up and her eyes would be red and her cheeks wet from tears and as the butler left she would stand and come over to her brother "So what to do today?" She asked herself outloud thinking. There were so many things they could do, she had trouble thinking of them all and she would then get it "Oh how about a walk first to get things started?"

Norman still sat on his knees defeated with his head down and upset. He gave a sad sigh still depressed then said softly "... i'll retrieve my umbrella....."

"Ok." She said standing waiting for him to return wondering what was his deal with the umbrella

He came back with the umbrella still upset and awaiting his sister's commands

"Hey smile brother dear"

He glared at his sister then tried his hardest forced a faint smirk then immediately went back to scowling "Can we just get this over with?....." He grumbled to her

She would smile and then loop her arm through his old school style and walk out into the sunlight

He frowned and opened his umbrella covering him in a shadow he walked along in anger

"Come on can you at least act like you are enjoying yourself?" She asked continuing to walk
