Hello world! I'm a newer user, and I'm writing a Sith apprentice named Kayden Lind. I've found myself a great master for him, and now I want to get him involved in the world proper!

I'll get him roleplaying with anyone, Sith Jedi, scoundrel, you name it! With my master ( Quinn Varanin ) being tied to the Sith Order, I'd like to make some ties to members of that as well. And of course, threads with Jedi would be very interesting to explore as well, as he knows very little of the outside world, having lived on the lower levels of Coruscant his entire life.

KAYDENS THEMES AND PHILOSOPHIES

Corruption of Innocence

Kayden is currently a brand new apprentice, who swore himself to Sith ideology because he had no other path out of destitution and shame in his life. He believes that by gaining power using the Dark Side of the Force, he may be able to control this demon inside of him (see next point) and wield it to free himself of his pain. I would love to play on his innocence being perverted and lost as he loses himself into the Dark Side, and eventually gains a lust for power.


Haunted by Darkness

Kayden has vivid hallucinations in both sleep and the waking world. These hallucinations cause him real pain, and often leave him passed out, or gasping for breath. He is unaware of the cause, but is often visited by a low menacing voice, persuading him to "embrace his vile blood", and calling him a "Child of Darkness." This is the voice of an ancient Sith Lord, who unknown to him, is his great great great grandfather. He hopes that by harnessing the Force he can end the anguish that it causes him.


A Necessary Violence

Kayden in his current state has not killed anyone on purpose, nor wishes to do so. The only valid reason for violence to him is an opposition to his goals. All he wants is to be free of his personal curses, and any who oppose that have put themselves below him morally.


Sting of the Tongue

In his current state, Kayden believes there is no weapon more powerful than the tongue. Quick, cunning, and witty, he will try to talk his way to his goals and out of trouble.

Ok so last thing. And this request is a weird one, but I figured I'd throw it out there anyway. So Kayden is the child of a one night stand between a Sith and a barkeep. His mother died in childbirth, and the father left almost instantly after the one time hookup, never knowing a son was conceived. In my head I have that this father is the great great grandson of an ancient Sith Lord, who torments Kayden in his dreams, pushing him to training.

Though I planned on his father just being an NPC, I kind of thought it could be cool if it was another Sith roleplayed on this site. Specifically one in the Sith Order could be cool, but that isn't too much of a stickler for me.

So if anybody is interested in being the unknown father of Lind, let me know!

If you're down to be an arkanian, you could be Drazen's son, or even his brother - since his father did alot of random 'experiments' to try and breed powerful sith. Drazen is Darth Empyrean 's brother, so you'd be in the Lutris lineage, and related to at least one Sith Emperor.

How about getting to meet one of the weird little freaks in the orbit of the Sith Order? Lirka is always around and about trying to meet the new Sithlings

 

[Rath Nihro]

If you're up for it, Kayden could thread with Rath Nihro who's part of the Elite in Dark Empire. They happen to be closely aligned with the Sith Order anyways, but their encounter would be like a test of Kayden's devotion to his new ideology as Rath questions it. It could be during a mission of some kind, or just happen to be a fated meeting.

I would like to address each of your points as follows -

First theme "The Corruption of the Innocent" - while I cannot provide someone who would entice him, perhaps instead I could provide the tantalizing prospect of that one can be a "good Sith". That the Dark Side, when disciplined, can be used as a tool - or rather than delving into depravity, despondency. Innocence lost through the endurance of witnessing atrocities and murky greys endured. Perhaps, should you wish it, Kayden may be a man marred, but not totally given to the darkness.

Secondly - while not an expert of demonology, Trayze seems to care for a few who also bear the ghostly sins of their forebears - namely his good-cousin Darth Malum of House Marr and Darth Strosius . Perhaps the two can reminisce about how both of them are heirs of deep and dark lineages, yet still can make their own way?

Lastly - a dry wit would appeal to the detective greatly, and perhaps they may teach one another something.

Onto the hyper specific request, I cannot give any guarantees (save for maybe if Darth Malum of House Marr wishes to induct you into the House of Marr ) - but if you're interested in a slightly jaded sheriff turned workingman's Sith turned Governor of Besberra, and wish to learn of life within the Sith Order and the quieter, more pensive moments, hmu!

Heya! Kaila\Darth Anathemous here is Quinn Varanin 's part time "bodyguard" and secret lover, so I could see our characters meeting ez! whether you want to meet through Quinn or one on one, i'd be down! There's also Kaila's own apprentice, Tamsin Graves who also has a voice in her head though for different reasons, and she could use more sith friends! so they might be someone to message or meet via kaila

as for Kaila herself, she's a somewhat philosophical soul, a warrior-sorceress with her own beliefs on the dark side and how it relates to fate that allow her to justify being sith despite being one of the only slightly gentler souls among the order, which might make for a good discussion since you're looking to corrupt that innocence

I can help create items, alchemized to help further the journey along if you want. Darth Renatus is considered "dead" to the Sith Order right now but is still considered a rather legendary alchemist and ritualist. Could trace the line and find him now as "Lord Ki", considering he changes his appearance on each death and request/blackmail a way to get yourself a unique Alchemized item to help on your journey. Plus he can give some tibits of advice, he has lived long through the New Sith Wars era, he may know a thing or two...or a potential place you are looking for, think of him as a friendly old man if needed.

Could also attempt (if want, succeed) in killing the old man, forcing him to get reborn again. It would make a funny rival in a sense he would actively REFUSE to have lost to a Sith Apprentice since he was in fact, a Sith Lord! Be more or less a running gag that could go through invasions/skirmishes if the timings go right!

That said...I do not mind the idea of Lord Ki being the father though it be one of the most hilarious panic attacks ever to be conceived when he discovers in fact, he is the FATHER. The man has been through three bodies since he been reintroduced through the website and the very first one was, in fact, Human...thought it honestly does not matter much! It would make for a very awkward conversation as he only sired one other child and this be a literal stretch of the imagination for several millenia. It can also work into the story of an evil Great Great Grandfather even, the Lorekeeper Line was a collection of characters originally that I produced and then retired out, making it more or less easy to figure out.

In addition, it would make the character part of a unique bloodline of Force Curses that could be explored or even skipped over if desired.


Oh and lastly, in case you want a customized starfighter/freighter, the shipwrights Hafeys (Angelus Hafey, Haon Hafey, Alvis Hafey) are more than willing to help build you a personalized transport. If allowed through the Sith Order, I can even make a personalized warship! Just offering, everyone else has fancy ships at times.
