- Strong Armor - The armor of an SAAT Tank is built to be exceptionally durable, and they're easily capable of slugging it out with most other tank designs with relative ease, with only concentrated heavy firepower being able to penetrate their thick armor.
- Ample Firepower - The SAAT Tank sports a sizeable suite of onboard weapons, and can lay down heavy fire upon an enemy position with all of it's built in weapon systems.
- Repulsorlift - These tanks can be rendered immobile by Repulsorlift jamming fields, which can prove rather problematic for the crew within the tank. They are also unable to pass through active energy shields due to their repulsorlifts.
A modern recreation of the iconic Armored Assault Tank favoured by the Trade Federation and Confederacy of Independent Systems before and during the Clone Wars, these Repulsorlift tanks were designed by Darth Xyrah to serve as the main armored vehicle of his rapidly growing droid military. Built to be durable and carry overwhelming levels of firepower, these SAAT tanks form a hardened spearhead with which to lead Darth Xyrah's droid armies towards victory upon the battlefield.
While built for a crew of SB-1 Battle Droids, they can also be operated by organic Sith soldiers without any modification, though the interior only contains the bare essentials necessary to support an organic crew.
