With the Netherworld opening space in the Core Worlds and the map having some free space finally, time to have some fun with a plot I wanted to do for a while. For those interested here are some background info.

SITH DARK CRUSADES
Rise of the Imperial Inquisition

INTRODUCTION POST

With the Netherworld Rapture finally breaking the Republics giant homogeneous hold on the Core Worlds the Sith are finally in position to take FULL advantage. I, Darth Isolda and Darth Vornskr are preparing for a purge unlike anything ever seen on this site. This plan only works before the other factions eat up space with zerg rushed dominions. The plan is to attack, raid and cleanse every Jedi touched world in the Core. IC'ly it is to remove every trace of Republic/Jedi cultural affiliation to re-enforce the Sith permeation across these worlds. OOCLy, we raid their technical, industrial and lore archives for anything we can find and then take it back to Coruscant. With this the Jedi will have no safe havens anywhere in the Core. Now this doesn't mean decimating entire populations . No, with some we can use the Imperial Mission (Darth Vornskr), re-educate, liberate and rebuild. But for Jedi Enclave worlds ONLY THE FIRES OF PURIFICATION WILL CLEANSE THAT WORLD. Hauntruss will name this campaign the Adasean Black Crusades in honor and dedication to the FIRST King of the Sith- Adas. This campaign will span several threads on several worlds. (not dominion threads btw). I am hoping that we could collect a special fleet and set of stormtrooper legions. The fleet will be the permanent space force for moving the Crusades. And will be known as the Imperial Hammer. While my Death Dragoons, and Vornskr's Black Blades and Imperial Fist will be the military staff to command the Legions. Naturally Apprentices, Knights and other Lords are welcome to join.

“No Pity, No Remorse, No Fear”

Introduction
Within the One Sith Empire’s Imperial machine, there are two instruments of the Imperial Reform Orders to their reformation of worlds they conquer or subjugate. One is the Imperial Mission, designed by [member="Darth Vornskr"] to be a Sith cultural and religious mission designed to spread the Sith Creed and Imperial Doctrine to other worlds by way of diplomatic, socio-economic and political reform to mold the populace into bright and willing members of the Empire.

However, what if you the populace is unwilling to reform, suppose they are too staunchly devout. What if worse, the world is home to Jedi Enclave that acts as a bastion to these ideals? Then if the house cannot be modified it must be torn down and its foundations removed. In this case the second of the two Imperial Reform Orders is employed- The Imperial Inquisition.
The Imperial Inquisition is the more brutal sister order to the Imperial Mission. Their mandate is to pledge an unending crusade in the name of the Dark Lord their Emperor. Imperial Inquisitors Stormtrooper Legions are taught to abhor the Jedi, the Light and the Enemies of the Emperor. Indoctrinate into the Inquisition these legions live not on a base world but on an Inquisition Fleet. This is done so the Inquisition can be highly mobile and be despatched to any corner of the galaxy or Sith space to purge what must be cleansed.

The Imperial Inquisition is a last resort at all times. It is not designed for continuous heavy military campaigns. It is a special task force to be unleashed when most needed. For once unleashed its devastation is total.

Doctrine and Organization
The Imperial Inquisition conducts its operations in a series multi-world campaigns. Each campaign is given the title of Dark Crusade. The current campaign soon to be unleashed is the Adasean Dark Crusades- named after the First Dark Lord of the Sith- King Adas.

The Imperial Inquisition is led by 4 High Inquisition Marshals, this is cycled out except for Darth Hauntruss who remains as Inquisition Warmaster and commander of the Inquisition Fleets. The battle doctrine of the Imperial Inquisition is shock an awe planetary destruction. Worlds condemned to purges are placed in either two protocols of cleansing- Fire Purification or Storm Purification. Fire Purification subjects a planet to a total fleet planetary bombardment, once all traces of infrastructure are wiped clean the Stormtrooper legions are dropped with invasion vehicles from one of the many floating fortress cruisers. Fire Purification is often left to Jedi Enclave worlds. Storm Purification is more of a standard siege tactic of the Imperial Inquisition- this is for when the infrastructure or general outline of world is requested to be kept intact.

I'd be interested in helping, but my character is against planet-wide destruction or the obliteration of knowledge, so she would prefer to loot the enclaves before they were annihilated

[member="Darth Arcanix"]
Indeed. Unfortunately I didn't have space to write it but the planetary bombardment isn't to wipe out knowledge. No no, removal of archives, recordings and relics is also apart of the purging process. So don't worry xD.

Sounds very interesting, could the Healer Guild provide refugee camps for the injured as well as place field hospitals for the Sith troops?

We are a neutral faction and as such provide help to all. If this is imposing on a faction event I will withdraw my proposal.

[member="Shuduc Macar"] I believe that Darth Hauntruss tagged those people based on who showed interest in the OS Faction thread that she posted. However, under the spoiler tag above she mentions this:

I think that means you're welcome to join.

I'm intrigued! I would like more detail though. What places are you planning on attacking? I saw Dorin and Cularin on the list (DORIN!!!! NOOOOOOO).

What knowledge/artifacts are you hoping to confiscate? For example, I'm doubtful Dorin will have anything useful as the Enclave there hasn't really be used in 1,000s of years. And most importantly, for me, are you planning on "fire purging" Dorin.....because that would basically be wiping out the Kel Dor species! :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek:

If you can handle having an association with the Imperial Inquisition. Go for it~

The invited list is not limiting. I was just posting people off the top of my head that would be neat to join. You are most welcome to come as well!~ The Imperial Inquisition needs able bodied Sith to lead the Legions.

[member="Kian Karr"]
HISS HISS HISS...that is exactly why I picked Dorin. To further our continuing rivalry!~ As for the Jedi Enclave there, its up to the RPers, the looting and raiding of knowledge is more for IC lore building. As for the purging, removing all traces of Jedi culture ala what Rome did to Carthage, has its IC and OOC uses. Also I am not purging a species - lol that's silly - I will be fire purging every Jedi constructed building and Republic infrastructure. All those that attempt to defend the Jedi Enclave and Republic associations however, are in trouble.

If you read the IC intro thread that sets up the first Imperial Inquistion Dark Crusade - The Adasean Crusades - you'll get a good IC lore intro. As for worlds I might go for Cularin first and then Dorin. They'd probably be more IC plot threads, than a skirmish or raid thread- as those tend to be treated as almost invasion threads and I'd rather avoid that.

General plot is this comes out of nowhere for the Republic as their current observations show the Sith doing consolidation of worlds they have conquered, so I doubt they would immediately mobilize so quickly. I think once the first Jedi Enclave is attacked and purged that might perk up the Jedi Council's intelligence and awareness operations.
